i goes this way

find a trash 2H weapon and suicidal make it with 0 durability

under this situation your hold a “air weapon” make you get lowest 2H damage

wear full set of plate armor to make sure you as hard as granite

then go to hit monster with “air weapon” as more as you can

sounds like funny joke but i really did it and it was effective

Huh, that makes a lot of sense. Really stamina efficient too, I like it.

Now I just have to break all of my training weapons by throwing my naked body at a bunch of monsters!

Best staff would be the fiery of surtr but I'm under the impression that manga522 doesn't really want to play fire mage.
The other alternatives are probably pretty similar, two staves with wrong prefixes and a focus one.

for the purpose of grinding @ IWBTH

A good staff is much more important than the element choosen.
For elemental mage you can pretty much completely disregard the element, the only real difference is Willow vs Redwood, with Willow being significantly better with deprecating spells (imperil).

Since people actually read this very thread to be informed about HV what we really want here is clear answers, math backing up reasoning, things like that.
Being sarcastic because you did not know why people with three digit M credits can't be arsed to bid on a fiery rapier it's not making this thread looks good.
You can just check Scremaz post for reference, he read my post, understood what I meant, concluded that super-rich people simply have different priorities and still thinks that the Peerless fiery rapier of slaughter is a fucking good rapier (which it is, just not the best, like a 50.5 ADB rapier is not a 51.33 ADB rapier, and if you have enough credits to get the latter you're probably not interested in the former).

Just like everyone, I don't appreciate being called out dumb and various unpleasant names by someone who sets a one-sided discussion, disrespects his interlocutor, refuses to acknowledge his point of view, assumes that his interlocutor doesn't read/understand. without imperil its difficult to break monster resistance with my character

so i have to cast imperil first seems my only choose is Willow type

but i saw these player using different staff Holy Focus and Arctic Heimdall

they doing very well but all of them choose the holy element not fire and wind also Ork kinda like Willow has extra anti-resist （ is this point？ ）

i am really confused

i consider this stage of my gameplay is focus in the grinding capability @ IWBTH only

not dominate over（like PHOH or PTWD PDWD ）

A being better than B does not make B useless.
DJNoni are other users are successfully playing imperil mage with redwoods.
Maybe they are 300 or so turns less efficient in a full Fest, but does that really make non-willow useless?
I wouldn't say so.
(also a wrong prefixed staff probably loses more turns because of the lack of damage)

Holy is and will always be very popular since it has the best proc between element.
But it's also the most expensive and the least defensive.

Then probably Fire is the way to go since you already have a good staff and fire phase is pretty cheap.

Also I apologize for the thread derailing, I've regretfully put the user in my ignore list since it seems to me that he is takes this matter personally (which is far from my intent) and I don't have the time to deal with this (and it's probably the better solution for both).

start with 2H longsword i good but you need use one-hand + shield after reach 100+


i play 2H @ 1-200 than switch into one-hand + shield

Okay, Sapo84 was tart there, but the simplest response is to set him on ignore.

I got mad at "Santa" a while back, and ignored him. After a couple months, then I unignored him. The things
that bothered me then don't bother me now.

Sapo, IMO, even when he seems harsh, is far more help than hindrance, and I hope you can see that.

below 100 I suspect anything other than naked works.

I used 2H + light till about 170s, but if I had to do it over again, I would have switched to 1H + shield + heavy right after level 100. Pretty easy to handle Hell difficulty in 1H + heavy in the 100s.
