QUOTE(Chronos0510 @ Jul 20 2017, 18:04) I saw Exquisite Ethereal Katana of Slaughter with ADB 70+ but the max is 69.32, it's like low Magnificent.
I am sure this Katana was upgraded.

I plan on swapping out my present phase gloves with a decent set of cottons. Then replace my cotton cap with one of the two in the pic below. I'm a little torn. Should I go with the perfect stats on the peerless, or use the radiant set with meh stats to get the damage bonus? Disregard any forging, for whichever set I choose will gradually be upgraded as my monsters show up for coffee.

QUOTE(Chronos0510 @ Jul 20 2017, 18:04) I see. Thanks everyone, now I'd like to hunt good equipment with low prices as possible. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I have bookmarked "Equipment Range", and sometimes not accurate. I saw Exquisite Ethereal Katana of Slaughter with ADB 70+ but the max is 69.32, it's like low Magnificent. Ranges overlap. Check the wiki, you'll see what I mean. Damage, there is. Damage thou shalt upgrade. ...I suggest the Damage cotton.

I just Salvaged a Mag. Phase with a Bazaar Value of approx. 5,292. https://hentaiverse.org/equip/135598659/b7a4042de6I Received: - HG Cloth - 10x Scrap Cloth - 3x Energy Cell Note only 10 Scrap, (Not 11 as was Expected). This presumably also lowered the upper limit on Energy Cells. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this discrepancy in salvage results.

Yes. As far as I know, scrap has always had a limit of 10. I just salvaged a phase robe with a bazaar value of 9980, and received 1 HG cloth, 10 scrap, and 7 energy cells. edit: I just found an old post of mine from a couple of years ago asking the same question. My wording implies that the limit was new, but I suspect that I had never salvaged something valuable enough to hit the limit before then, and that my expectations were based on the wiki. QUOTE(jantch @ Sep 4 2015, 13:23) Has the method to determine the amount of scrap from salvaged equipment changed recently?
I just salvaged magnificent phase pants, with a shop value of 5325c, and received 10 scrap instead of the expected 11.

Thanks. I haven't salvaged much "High Value" Equip. The Wiki States: Salvaging yields between 1 and 50 scrap per equipment depending on its sale value. If this is no longer correct, perhaps it should be changed.

The list gets longer. Now i just wait for the person that needs to close his zipper to make the OFC working. BTW since when is the OFC that buggy?

So whats an optimal build for staying alive, but still doing good damage? Right now my stats are an even 295 for str/dex/end with wisdom trailing behind at 275 for support magic, and agility and int bringing up the rear at 185, and 100.
I'm running with protection plate, and trying to find a decent enough rapier to replace my axe which apparently sucks in comparison to the abilities of a rapier.
Wanted to do a mage build but apparently that isn't recommended till imperil is unlocked.

1H Power FTW. If you want better chance of survival, Power Protection. They're also pretty affordable at several hundred of thousand k for a decent piece. 3/5 pieces of Leg Power + 1 good rapier are enough to PFUDOR all arenas without much healing. If you prefer good damage, Power Slaughter. But they're expensive as hell. But I think it's the Shield that matters the most. Forging a crappy 36% Force to level 25 can boost your survivability a lot.

If you'll avoid pieces that everyone bids on, and look for pieces that seem to be almost as good, then it's not hard to pick up power protection pieces for 100k per piece or less. Just auction smartly. As an example, people will start this bidding war on a level 390 piece with 97% ADB and the level 411 piece with 93% ADB doesn't get touched. If you don't know how to handle auctions, watch a couple and especially watch Slobber at auction.

i'm more confident that an 83% may reach a low(er) bid, but still fetch a decent price. however, people it's not the first time i read about Slobber's numbers. i'd like to say: 1. what exactly is he doing? 2. if he's not doing anything wrong but is merely doing good deals, people may want to stop advertising his activities too much.

What about Shielding Plate 1H? Yesterday in the evening I tried putting together a few Shielding Plate pieces and a force shield, and I reached 58% block chance. That is, I used 4 Exquisite Shielding Plate out of 5 pieces and a Mag Force Shield, so I can easily imagine going above 70% block chance with better gear. Yeah I'm fully aware that the damage will be garbage (I reached only 3500 damage, while my Power 2H reaches 5500 on the same persona), but frankly I think that it deserves being tried. At least so that you don't go bankrupt from upgrading+repairing a full power set. That being said, there is no way that one will forge a crappy force shield. It's expensive while you can find way better for barely more expensive. A good Buckler of the Barrier or even a good (Reinforced) Kite Shield of Protection is better than a meh force shield. I'd go for those if I owned them. This post has been edited by decondelite: Jul 21 2017, 11:04

Good to use if you have nothing else, but the higher block chance does just not justify the lack of damage compare to a good power armor.

Thanks all for the help the other day, the new Light Armor + Dualwield build is rocking! Here's album 2 days after the changes: (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/fKigog9.png) (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/qtAHmLo.png) (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/0BAEOzC.png) I also wanted to ask: Is Flying Spaghetti Monster the best one to use Blood Tokens on? Should I use Artifacts/Trophies at Shrine right away? How useful are Monsters from Monster Lab actually? Any Hath Perks that I should prioritize save for Innate Arcana? I should be switching to 1H+Shield soon right? That's all, thanks!

Well, it does if it means not losing a lot of time to heal, or if you simply can't survive with a Power set. QUOTE(TheTrooper @ Jul 21 2017, 14:17) Is Flying Spaghetti Monster the best one to use Blood Tokens on?

1. Yes, and should be the only one. 2. Do it from time to time or everyday, it's up to you. 3. They're essential to upgrade your equipment, or at least to make money with rare materials. 4. ... Postage Paid? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) More seriously: Vigorous Vitality, Effluent Ether, and then the rest depends on the person. I'd highly recommend Soul Catcher just because it's basically equivalent to 10kC everyday, so it self pays within 250 days (roughly), and then it's all bonus. But I don't think everyone would say it's a priority. This post has been edited by decondelite: Jul 21 2017, 14:32
