QUOTE(NekoRenard @ Jul 20 2017, 04:07) How do you manage to get better equipment when you're in the 150-350 range? It seems like either level unassigned gear is too weak and the good gear is like LV400+ range.
I tried looking around WTS subforum, but I couldnt really find gear that is better that what I have.
Atm it feels like I just have to save up fragments for Soul Binding a high level item to lower it's level so that I can equip it. (if that's how it works)
I'm still fairly new so there is still a bunch I dont know. I generally browse the wiki and the WTS forum but atm I'm still using level 50-100 gear that I got from drops or item shop.
Does it not matter until a particular level or am I just missing something.
It's hard to get better equipment in the 150-350 range. Some players decide to get Gold Star at that range, to get through the 200-300 range in particular. Availability of good gear is a real issue. Keep looking for good stuff in WTS, auctions and FreeShop in particular. Yes, soul binding makes a higher-level item usable. Up to 100 levels higher than your level. check the wiki advice for advice on playstyle at your level.

QUOTE(zcb535359 @ Jul 19 2017, 21:19) edit2: another question: need i change Spike Shield from Flame(what i use now) to Storm to work with my rapier. i think raising miss chance is good for survive, not for effective.

You will hardly notice any difference. But changing will probably be slightly better

Hi. I got an issue with OFC. I purchased the one missing figurine to supposedly unlock OFC (via MoggleMail), but it still won't appear neither in my skill list in battle nor in the settings. (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/jt4mDm9h.jpg) (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/LuZ43IGh.jpg) Am I supposed to do something in particular to get it available, or is it bugged? QUOTE(Scremaz @ Jul 20 2017, 02:21) i'd say something like Juggernaut >>>> Holy/Fireproof >>>> Capacitor > all the rest.
Really? That's interesting. Is there some disproportionately large amount of monsters using fire and holy spells?

not so much time ago, joe suggested to trade some GP. he doesn't know the reason either, but it may work. feedback appreciated, just in case. QUOTE(Ser6IjVolk @ Jul 20 2017, 14:44) Really? That's interesting. Is there some disproportionately large amount of monsters using fire and holy spells?
yes, respectively dragonkins and celestials. there was a period in which pretty much all trainers made those two classes. plus giants and atrhropods.

Nope. Didn't work. 1kGP or 10kGP. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting, did nothing either. I tried changing personas/equipments, still didn't work. This post has been edited by decondelite: Jul 20 2017, 16:07

You dont calculate them. They are right there on the right in your character screen. ABD means Attack Base Damage and MBD is the Magic Base Damage.

Legendary Ethereal Wakizashi of Balance (Lv.413, ADB 4%, Parry 47%) Legendary Tempestuous Wakizashi of Balance (Lv.378, ADB 14%, Parry 4%) can you explained... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) both of them almost have same parry chance, but the top one got 47%? how to get 47% value? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) both of them almost have same parry chance, but the top one got 47%? how to get 47% value? If you want to calculate it yourself, here's what you do: 1. Go to https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_Ranges#Wakizashi2. Look up the base values for parry. In case of Legendary Wakizashis, the minimum parry is 19.97 and max is 22.48. 3. Look at the base values on the two examples you provided (hover mouse over the parry value). The first one has 21.14 and the second has 20.08 base parry. Basically, this means that the "4% parry" weapon (20.08) is only barely better than minimum possible parry (19.97). The other weapon with 47% parry (21.14) is somewhere in the middle of the range. If you want the exact formula, it's this: [(base-min) / (max-min)] * 100% (where "base" is the base value on the weapon, "min" is the lowest possible roll and "max" is the highest possible roll)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) both of them almost have same parry chance, but the top one got 47%? how to get 47% value? Okay, first click those links Then, hover mouse over the stat 'parry' You see the 'Base Value': 20.14 for the bottom one, 21.08 for the top one The actual value scales with level. If you don't soulfuse any of them, the parry is almost the same. After soulfuse, the one with higher base value will be much better. Percentage shows you how good that stat is for a legendary. Each type of legendary eqpuiment has a range for each stat. 0% means the lowest possible base value for that stat. 100% means perfect maximum for that stat. 50% means halfway in the Legendary range. I see. Thanks everyone, now I'd like to hunt good equipment with low prices as possible. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I have bookmarked "Equipment Range", and sometimes not accurate. I saw Exquisite Ethereal Katana of Slaughter with ADB 70+ but the max is 69.32, it's like low Magnificent.
