Grab a decent Force Shield (base block >37) and forge it to 15 or 20, aim for ~55% to 60% Block at your current level. That should already allow you to handle IWBTH or even PFUDOR difficulty. Also, to speed things up, grab a Slaughter Rapier - you don't need the Accuracy from Balance suffix anyway (you're at ~220% Hit Chance).

Dont look at it that way. I mean, even a shitty Mag Cloth drop, is worth allready 18k (HG Cloth) Also even more worthless equipment drops mean more equipment for bazaring, which means more money. Not that much, but every little bit helps.

AFAIK unassigned eq stats always scale to the viewer's level...
so when you equip/soulbound it, the stats will not change...

If I were in your position I would get some better gear (in other words spend my gold on gear instead of training) and then just do an all-out rampage (normal difficulty, complete all arenas every day, etc) for a week or three to get my profeciencies up.

How much would each piece of Mag power of slaughter cost me, do you think? I currently only have 5M creds on hand because I was saving my hath for coupon clipper. It's not a prob if it costs more than 5M, it just means I'd have to sell some hath 1st.

Say an average of 7 monsters per round, and an average of 5 hits to kill each monster. That's 7*5*1000 = 35000 page refreshes.
Even if you botted and had an awsome machine that could perform 1 attack/page refresh per second, it'd still take 35000/60/60 = 9.72 hours of continuous botting just to beat the grindfest...

I know it has been a big "mismanagement of resources" lol, but I just hate using the forums *so much* that I'd rather spend hath/creds unwisely than deal with the pain of using the forums (I only have a mobile, no pc). The only reason I'm looking now is because I'm actually finding killing shit a bit hard now. You can get decent *legendary* gear of /protection/warding/balance/ in the range of 50k to 250k. mag gear of slaughter should be in the same price range or you shouldn't be buying it. But I would suggest if you have a 5M budget for now, perhaps look for legendary gear you soon would grow into.

mediocre legendary gear =~ the best mag gear.

*Legendary* gear of slaughter is what runs into the millions, from a couple million to 10ish. You could worry about those pieces at 350+

Good legendary rapiers can be had from .. oh, 750k to a couple million. I think friggo paid circa 6 mill for a endgame class rapier.

My suggestion: /WATCH/ the auctions. Figure out what you would like. Do not bid the first couple weeks.

And yes, as friggo suggests, perhaps look at a reloading script (reloader or vanilla reloader) and figure it out.

All that said, the two most important pieces of gear are the weapon and the shield. I just got a legendary 91% drop on shield, which ends my buying any new shields pretty much forever. But I count myself very lucky in that regard.

I checked out the script stuff you linked (really neat btw). You wouldn't happen to know how to use the scripts on a mbile phone though, would you? The guide thrad doesn't cover details for how to use with mob (unless I'm blind?)

Basically, you need at least 50 base proficiency (without equipment) to use those spells.

Just wondering does clearing arenas and grindfest fast requires mage built or good net connection ?
