Do my stats and gear make sense, more or less? I'm looking to replace everything with *of slaughter, but it takes time and credits. I really only have int for the spirit boost; I am in spirit stance all but maybe the first monster of a series

yes, for what they can. low ADB is indeed due to non-Slaughter equips, a couple of Exq and a Plate. put them together, i expect something like a +1500 boost (rough extimate, maybe more) in case you'll switch to at least Mag of Slaughter. possibly another 400 or so for a mid-tier Leg Rapier of Slaughter.

protip: when you'll reach that point, i suggest you to forge all your armors to lv5. now it would be sort of a waste of credits, but with the proper armors we're speaking about, uh... 1.5M for 200+ ADB (and HP, PABs, PMI etc etc). with a bit of luck you may even unlock a bit of juggernaut.

however, i guess that OFC may really be useful for you right now. if you can already play PF decently, it should allow you to improve cleartimes a tad bit.

Can someone explain how crackling cast differ from hoverplay? it seem to be a lot more complicated

Hoverplay just makes it so you can hover monsters to attack them, and if you don't use a Reloader, it's quite slow.

CracklingCast has a built in feature that allows you to recast expiring buffs and use consumables with your mousewheel, so if your mana gets to the percentage set on the script for example, CC will lock your hovering so you use mousewheel to use a mana draught/potion/elixir.

The difference is basically on clearspeed, as you use less time using consumables and recasting buffs, being all tied to the mousewheel by default.

In some time i want to remake some monsters so i'd like some advice.

- There are monster that normally perform better than others?
Like, in my previous tentative i have seen that, at least PL 50-150 Mechanoid with Pierce and Undead with Slash were doing a bit better than others.

- If i have to select one of the trhree damage type, wich one is better, Pierce, Slash or Crush?

- And for eventual elemental attacks?

- But mostly: Suggestion on Power Level?

Someone said to let them near 25, so just activate them, empower them with the few chaos level they can get and let them fight new players.
Is it a good thing?

I'll askbecause i cannot thake off my mind about 3 things:

1) Lower level = lower gifts (at least for material, i don't know if this affect the special items like Shade Fragment).

2) At lower levels there are a loto of common monsters lice Cockatrice, Amphibiam Sperm Whale and so on new monster will not tend to appear less often?

3) If i don't use Crystals to increse the PL of the monsters i have to go with Happy Piils to refill the morale, is it not justa waste?

- If the above is not good i have to point on making my monsters PL 1000* or there is a level where they can do godd?

Leveling up monsters doesn't do much for gifts. Unless you go to pl1250 or so. But return on investment is low. Main profit come from slaughter and destruction bindings and phazon. For these level doesn't matter.

Type of monster: low level monsters don't fight just get 3 day drops. High level monsters have to face me. (Or even stronger players). We don't die much. Flee happens, so your monster get gifts by being there not by doing anything. Type of monster is only important for one thing: the name. You can have very funny combinations like Big Mistake (giant) or Flipping the Bird (avion). Clgood combos will make it to the funny monster name thread!

of course. phase equip will boost your EDB (MDB too eventually), which is the firepower of a mage. once you'll hit the ~0.7 prof threshold, it's in your interest to have as much EDB as possible.

Not really, unless you will use it for a long time.

But5/Fat4 or Fat5/But4 will always be the best potencies possible for 1H, but if you don't get them and it's just a temporary weapon, then your main goal is just the void strike at IW10.

it really depends on the element. if you're not so finicky (ie: you may be happy with Fire) and don't need to do SGs too much, you may find some nice things for little credits.

the real problem is your level. given the low offer in that range you may indeed want to look for non-slaughter or for mags as well.

It's advised to install Superlatanium's Percentile Ranges Script, so you can easily see what you are paying for.

At my level, I would only go for a better rapier if it was close to 100% ADB, but the ones who are 90%+ are already in the millions range.

Bear in mind that different suffixes will have different percentages, so a nimble suffixed rapier with 90%+ ADB might not deal as much damage as a slaughter suffixed one with just 70% ADB, being the same for armor suffixes.

Just be sure to know what you are investing in to not regret it later. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

He's asking about 4+1 build, so I believe he's wondering wether robe or pants would be the best option.

So a few questions, I'm going to send it out to be IW'ed, should I just go for penetrator 5 and w/e for the other 4 rolls? I don't want to sink a ton in just IW-ing this item since I may find a better one in the future, and planning on soulbinding it as well. basically, cost wise which potencies should i am for?

don't know what the breaking point may be. just avoid useless ones like ADB, Magic ACC, Wind/Elec EDB and Elemental Prof.
