for example, which build(s) did you use until now? which IWs? which was the best way to make credits? what's your daily routine? did you purchase your stars with in-game credits or did you already start with it?

1) My original build was 2h + light, following f4tal's recommendation. Arbiter Erii gave me my first gear. Around 150s-170s, since Slobber had suggested no harm in making a 1h + heavy persona, I did that. I mostly have used 1h + heavy since, since it was immediately better than 2h + light, on lesser equipment.

2) The only IW I did to completion was for a rapier. At this point, you kind of have to have a IW10 weapon.

3) For now, the Easter event made most of my credits, through fruits -> Energy Drinks and selling the items I got.

3) Arenas and REs, mostly. Occasional forays into Grindfest during the Easter event. Way too much time in this thread.

4) I started with no stars on thars, but bein' sneech-like, wondered what it would be like to do bitcoin transactions, which I had never done before (boldly go ..). My bank initially was not happy at all. But I learned something, which was worth it.

Usually for 2H weapons, Overpower is a must, and then you can get Butcher ot Fatality after.

Maces might not need overpower due to the mass stun it causes, but then there's all the talk about landing the first hit so enemies can be stunned, and the first hit can be parried, so if you feel playing with your mace is getting parried a lot, go with OP5 Fat/But4, and if not, go with But5/Fat4, or the other way around if you like crits.

For armor, power of slaughter/balance might work if you can one shot all enemies, which should be doable in low difficulties, but for Hell+, you will probably need to use shade of fleet/shadowdancer for the evade chance, as 2H has almost no survivability otherwise.

This wasn't asked, but just good to point out that the best glass cannons are still mages, so if you are aiming to sink credits into a playstyle to clear battles more quickly, spending it to build a mage should be a better option.

as for script compendium, uh... quite the sore point... since it's quite big of a project, i'd prefer to keep it on wiki so more people may edit it if needed. and a link in the getting started. script thread will be returned to its original purpose - that is, a discussion for coders and beta testers, possibly unpinned (actually, it was pinned only because it was merged with compendium by mistake. but that's not its place). eventually even a script announcement thread in which every coder publishes his release(s) may be useful, and sooner or later an user with wiki editing rights will update the compendium page on wiki (which will be of course linked in such a thread).

This is probably a good choice, the wiki has good features of tracking changes. We'll be answering the questing "where can I find scripts" often, though. Forum is much more used than wiki, i suspect.

block: check the wiki ranges for Force shield - those are the highest possible.
But the actual percentage, that's difficult, not only the weapon / armour influences it, but also dex / agility, including gear bonus. Best choice is to check stat of lv 500 players. my guess is the max will be close to 70%

i know, but... we cannot have many sources and having the hassle of updating them all at once when needed. inevitably some of them will remain outdated. let's hope that a link on getting started will be enough.

if you're referring to gears, it's clearly P (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
if you're referring to builds, currently i have:
block: 65.6 (1H); parry: 59.3 (1H) / 88.9 (DW); evade: 65.8 (DW)
so i'm quite confident that a higherup with full-forge may reach, saying... 70/65/90/70?

well, not exactly wasteful. but surely the return on investment will become lower and lower as you'll approach the top, so at a certain point it wil become not affordable anymore. especially since you may sink many credits without even seeing decimals moving due to multiplicative addition of said stats. probably that's a good point to stop (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

If you play 1h, you need to have block over 60%, and high parry.

But this is the point where you may have to think about what your ambition is. casual playing? no forging needed. Highest survivability at PFUDOR? Test how good you are and forge if needed. Best stats of HV? then you have a long way to go. Survive until going mage? Then it doesn't matter.

consider his level. i don't think he could afford 60% block easily. i'd say that yep, for now he can be satisfied enoughwith the point when coruscatings are needed. or too many HGW are.

1.Any tips on lvling up as quick as possible? I'm doing IWBH with random encounter, but only manage to beat it 8/10 times. I'm already used up most of my scrolls(even the free ones from the newbie threads)

2.How about ways to earn credit aside from doing arena?

3.I'm using a HA + 1h+shield build, but would like to transition into a mage when i can, i read the wiki and it says you can at around 300?

A question about script:
I'm using 1.3.3 reloader + crackling cast(shield bash, vital strike) the problem i have sometimes is the scripts attack too much and i die in 15x mode, whereas if i just use the 1.3.3 it would stop whenever my hp is at a certain point. Is there any way to fix crackling cast from over casting, or have it stop when my hp hits a certain %?

TIA

The maximum amount of block is around 69 with 0.82 force shield range (I have 68.4 for reference).
I think Stony has an old force shield with even higher block, with that it may be possible to reach 70, but I'm not 100% sure.
For parry it should be possible to go over 70 with rapier, I currently have 67.6 with a near pmax parry roll on rapier, with a peerless rapier + fully forged dex on all equipments you could probably reach something between 70 and 75.

For exact values you probably can just ask sssss2 since it has peerless shield and rapier and fully forged power armor.

No idea about DW.

Scipt: You probably have hoverplay set to "on" in reloader + hoverplay set to 'on' in cracklingcast. You should NOT do that - you risk getting banned, and you get undesirable behaviour such as not stopping. Settings of Reloader: set hoverplay to off.

3. Don't worry yet about going mage, it's still a looong way away. Mage at lower level is possible, as the wiki says, but you won't be able to play at higher difficulties and thus you won't level up fast (see point 1)

2. If you can do editing or translation: Bounties. If you can afford donations: donate for gold star. If you can run H@H: that works too. If you can upload good quality stuff: you get some gallery points you can sell.

1. play as high difficulty as possible. Train some adept learner. Get Gold Star with real money (BTC).

1. Play with your Stamina above 80% to get the 100% bonus, and also take a look at the other possible ways to affect EXP gain.

Doing the second page arenas that offer the exp multipliers in the highest difficulty you can manage might be the best option for you.

---------------

2. Not many by playing the game really.

Biggest ways to earn money easily is to contribute with the site, either by donating, uploading, running H@H or other means that generate you passive income, or you can do bounties for some active work if you have the skills required.

If you just want to play the game though, the usual routine for lower levels is to do the daily Arenas, fight Flying Spaghetti Monster in Ring of Blood if you have enough tokens, and sell anything valuable you got in the forums, like precursor artifacts, amnesia shards and such.

---------------

3. It's recommended to change to maging only around level 300 because you get access to the last abilities of imperil, making it a 0 cooldown spell, so you can imperil all mobs in every round, making your survivability and clearspeed faster.

You might be able to play as a mage without imperil on lower difficulties(normal | hard), but it's recommended to always play on the highest difficulty you can at any time, so if you can only handle Hard as a mage, but can breeze through Nintendo with another style, it'd be better to just play with the other style until you get stronger.

It's all up to what you feel like doing in the end.

---------------

Script Question.

Reloader's settings stop only hovering actions when you reach the determined values, so if you make any actions with a mouse click or with numpad, you are disregarding reloader's settings.

You might consider changing your attacking method to hovering instead of numpad/clicking if you wish for it to stop attacking when your HP/MP/SP are low.
