So, right now I'm doing a dual wield with heavy armor build. Is there any way to fight off 6+ enemies without heavy losses? I find myself reducing difficulty again and again because I can't keep up with the damage even with healing.

Especially when it's random encounter where I can't prepare overcharges to quickly dispose of the high priority targets. (is there a way to restore overcharge aside from attacking?)

plate isn't so good in this build and dw may benefits more of leather/shade armors depending on level. i suggest you to find a 2H weapon, and eventually a Leather armors set at your level.

I actually do have a nice 2H weapon in the inventory since I'm aiming for the niten at some point in the future. So switch 2H with leather ASAP? Wouldn't it be squishy?

all stats even except INT. and actually Leather provides you more safety (evade and resist) than plate, while losing only a negligible amount of mits - if any.

bah. i suggested you to keep them even because they all do something good and easier to remember. actually STR adds a bit of ADB and END a bit of HP tank, so stress them a bit if you think it's worth it.

What is this? What is upkeep? Do spells cost 10% less to execute? If that is the case, it seems worth it for me for only 50Hath. I keep running out of mana that's why I am desperate for anything that gives me mana bonus.

Any idea which perks I should aim to get in the long run?

Currently I have two Perks "Paid Postage" and "Resplendent Regeneration".

On a side note. How do I get bindings of slaughter? I read it is the Shrine but not sure what I am suppose to offer to get it. Is there a script that can auto-offer hundreds of precursors in the shrine and give me the result.

The Resp. regen. isn't visible in draughts. It is the normal regen without draughts that is improved. You don't see it, but it helps a bit during battle and in the recovery from battle out of battle.

Innate arcana: 1, 2 and 3 are just great! Try them. You won't have to look after those buffs like Spirit Stance and haste and spark of life anymore. They cast themselves. And that doesn't cost a lot of mana.

Binding of slaughter, you buy at the WTS. Theoretically you could shrine a figurine, but don't. You need to buy these for the cannon. Other way to get slaughter binddings is monster lab gifts.

Is there any stat on a staff that doesn't scale well when soul fusing to a lower level? Like how Block work on a shield.

yes. in the worst case, they'll bring one gift every 3 days. oh, and remember to give a name to their attacks as well.

My previous staff a few years back is an old Exquisite, can barely do IWBTH with it now.
