QUOTE(abc12345678901 @ Feb 21 2017, 10:28) Upon looking at all the rewards you get, I think I might just donate the 100$, so i have to convert money into bitcoin and then use that to donate right?
Get online and find a local bitcoin ATM to simplify. The exchange rate is worse, but saves you a week of aggravation.

QUOTE(k1r4y4m4t0 @ Feb 22 2017, 11:16) what is the nearest server to HV?
If you can get one in Leaseweb's AMS-01 datacenter you're good. It's the same datacenter where the HV server is located.

Nope, that's Cloudflare location. The HV server is in Amsterdam.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess that more low-lvl nubs like me follow this thread than the Shared FreeSHop one. In that case I just wanted to mention that they're holding a raffle over there for players under lvl 350. (Read the rules over here) There are some really nice prizes, so go check it out! I just realised scrolls provide stronger buffs than the similar spells even with ability points spent. That made me consider starting to scrolls instead of regular buffs, as well as reconsider which buffs to use.
Currently I'm keeping haste, protection, regen, spark and heartseeker all up manually. I also have abilities to improve mentioned buffs. Playing 1h + power, and I'll probably hit 250 in couple of days - hopefully the block will noticably help.
a few questions 1. Which buffs should I be using? 2. Should I use scrolls? If so, which ones? 3. Should I get arcana I and arcana II, or is there something more important early on? I have OFC already.

1. You are already using the right buffs, just add spirit shield and you're good to go. You can drop haste at lower difficulties. 2. I would say no, your credits/turn is probably pretty bad already, using scroll will only make it worse. I don't think scrolls are worth for melee. 3. Arcana I and II are a no brainer, get them as soon as possible so that you can slot spirit shield and spark and forget they even exist. Till will automatically make higher difficulties much less punishing.

spirit shield will start to become more useful as the kick-in threshold lowers. lv265 is a sweet point, i guess. so there's the chance he won't see its effects right now, but trying won't hurt of course.

I was slightly disappointed when getting Innate Arcana V didn't make me the invincible tank I was hoping to be
But at least it has minimized the amount of attention I have to pay while playing

I play Hell arenas and IWBTH REs and Spirit shield at 265 honestly doesn't do much for me at the moment. Hoping it will be more useful at 285. On PFUDOR, it probably would have been useful at 265, I guess.

it also depends on which mobs you'll meet, thus how strong their attacks are. for example, against FSM i guess you may see it kicking in even at lv240 at hell difficulty (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) either way, past a certain level it'll be a very useful safety layer and very cheap for what it offers.
