QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Dec 13 2016, 05:04) 5% of what?
It's highly dependent on level, too; a level 300's MP tank is very different from a level 500's MP tank, affecting the usefulness of elixirs.
The amount of work and credits spent on getting Capacitor to high level (4&5) compared to its actual usefulness in battle, the time you can save or the credits saved while fighting. I guess Capacitor high level is an end-game type of upgrade. Not really worth investing in lower levels.

Basically don't deliberately seeking it until you are lv480 or more.

I guess Capacitor high level is an end-game type of upgrade. Not really worth investing in lower levels. It sounds like the question is "how long for high Capacitor to pay off". For me, MP Tank 100 gives me 1971 additional mana, so MP Tank 50 aka Capacitor 5 * 5 equips gives me 986 mana, and one mana potion gives me 1479 mana. (one mana elixir gives me about 4500 mana, I only have a few incidental levels of Capacitor on my gears) So getting to Cap 5 on all my gears might mean that mana elixirs give me 1000 more mana than they do currently. In other words, if I switch to mana elixirs then, I'd have to use them about 1/5th less frequently than I do now (if I used mana elixirs now). My current overall cost of mana is probably something like 6000 credits per IWBTH-fest using potions. This math is a bit handwavey, but let's just say the cost with Cap 5 using elixirs would be 5000 credits per IWBTH-fest. So, on mana restoratives, I spend 1000 fewer credits every ~6800 turns; getting Capacitor 5 nets me something on the order of magnitude of +0.15 credits/turn. Including opportunity cost, what's the cost of getting Jug 5 in addition to Cap ~4+? The value of Jug 5 alone, including opportunity cost, is near the order of magnitude of 1.5m (included in that is the requirement of ~20 shards and ~40? runs). I'm not sure about this, but also getting Cap 4+ requires nearly an order of magnitude more, probably something like 150 shards and 400 runs. Let's just say the cost of Cap 4+ is 10m, it's not exact but I'm only concerned about the order of magnitude. So that cost is 8.5m or so more than the cost of Jug 5 alone. Multiply by 5 gears. High Capacitor on all gears costs around 42m, and gives a benefit of +0.15 credits/turn. How many turns does that take to pay off? Something around 280 million, which is around 26k hours at 3 turns/sec. In other words: bad idea, don't do it, it'll never pay off, even for the rich. Even if I'm off by an order of magnitude, the conclusion is the same. Probably not even Cap 1 in addition to Jug 5 is ever worth trying for. QUOTE(huhwaht @ Dec 13 2016, 09:03) The buckler isn't too bad simply because it's a Legendary-grade shield at a pretty low level, and those are rare. But any kind of leather regardless of level isn't really worth hanging onto.

If i use Shadow Veil quite a bit, is the last level of the Better Shadow Veil ability worth it? Like, i don't have a lot of ability points, so is the 1% increase in SV worth 7 ability points, or should i invest them somewhere else?

yes , always max all of your regular abilities that you use (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) but SV isn't useful for 1H (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

You could always buy more ability points through training (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

last level is rarely useful (personally i skipped many things like higher levels of Heavy mitigations), but it's quite useful for non-1H builds. if you use other builds as well, go for it. otherwise, skip it for now. btw, that ability affects also spell's duration. just saying. I'm using a Shade Set (of the Fleet) now, so i'd say that SV is quite useful. Maybe i'll activate it, and if i really need the points for other stuff Reset it. QUOTE(Scremaz @ Dec 13 2016, 20:03) do you have 1500 fragments? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) otherwise i have an unassigned Superior Shadowdancer... A little low in frags right now, i have about 1100. But if the piece is a good Leg, i could be interested anyway. Right now, i'm using these as Boots: Magnificent Leather Boots of WardingWould the Superior be better? If yes, please send (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) This post has been edited by gianfrix94: Dec 13 2016, 21:11

QUOTE(Scremaz @ Dec 13 2016, 20:18) Mmh, having to soulfuse Negation is something i'd like to avoid, and the Mag Boots i have now are definitely better than the Sup Shade, so i'll skip for now. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) So, what's everyone's inventory like, how many flotsam and jetsam are we all carrying with us? I think I am pretty bad - 515/1000 slots. Sorry gianfrix94, I didn't mean to spotlight you. I was actually looking for something to send to you but the equipment in my inventory aren't any better than the ones that you'd graciously turned down. No problem (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) By the way, i just got gifted a nice pair of Negation Boots, even if i can't use them right now since the level is ~350 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) About the inventory, i routinely clean it, so i'm at about 100/1000, i only keep Mag or higher and the lowest leveled Exq (lv 200 or so, max). Now, i got a question: How can i see how many stacks of Penetrated Armor i inflicted on monsters? If it helps, i'm using Sapo Reloader. This post has been edited by gianfrix94: Dec 14 2016, 00:44
