Have you switched to 1H already?
If yes, just put heavy armor and start grinding.
Your HP tank will increase slowly, but you should already see the improvement of losing evade and boosting counters (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Won't work, pretty soon the monsters will start doing an annoyingly large amount of damage and you'll have to kill them or flee.

But it's really easy to get prof up just by playing normally, at least for armor, as soon as you start playing a decent amount, your prof will rise up close to your level pretty quickly.

You can keep using Light for a while if you want. The main benefit of Heavy is the ability to use Power armor, but halfway decent quality Power only becomes a slight possibility past level 250 or so. Given the other disadvantages of Heavy, if I were you I'd stick to Light for a while more.

shade is cheaper compare with power , but you need very high upgrade to make shade good at PFUDOR especially GF (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

It's completely physical. EDB has no effect on elemental strike damage either.

This really deserves its own thread, but I don't want to attract the attention of any higher-ups (yet) because reasons, others have brought it up before. (I'm not posting this in the same thread you asked it in for the same reason)

Uploader, H@H, and cleanup toplists are fine. Rating and Reviewing toplists used to be crap ("press 100 buttons every day, get an award at the end of the year") but now they're more tolerable. EHTracker toplisters are reportedly often completely automated in addition to being vulnerable to fake completions used to increase stats.

But most people here don't read Japanese and don't want want to spend real money. Thus, we come to the most popular and most widely abused one, tagging. The main purpose of having tags is so that searchers can find what they're looking for, so it's important for them to be pretty accurate; having invalid tags means that searchers will find quite a few results that aren't what they want, and getting to the real properly tagged galleries could require going through quite a few others first.

Users get tag points for adding tags, whether they're valid or not - they don't often get downvoted. Users with the most tag points get HV XP bonuses and awards (and more mod power) at the end of the year. So, there's very little incentive for taggers to tag accurately; as long as they aren't so inaccurate to get the attention of Joe or Binglo (who aren't so active as they were in the past) and get tag-banned, they're free to keep spamming any tags they think might have a chance of not getting downvoted. But almost all users are much more likely to upvote than to downvote; conscientiously downvoting takes a lot more effort per tag than upvoting. As a result, a large majority of the 450k+ galleries have at least some invalid tags added by people who were trying to spam, or by people who add tags without reading the tag definitions first, or by people who don't understand the presence rule, or by people who didn't even bother looking at the gallery at all. Yes, that's really a thing.

People should be tagging tags because they're sure they're valid and because they want to help the site, but instead many of them are tagging for points, rewards, and power. The incentives are wrong, and as a result, a big chunk of the tagging system is completely broken. I did a big analysis of common tags [reasoningtheory.net] here - but keep in mind that the true accuracy of many tags is likely far lower than displayed, they just haven't been properly checked and downvoted yet.

The result of all of this: vigilante workers have to make posts like the following and share it among themselves to kill the invalid tags added and voted on by spammers.

I agree. I've made the toplist for reviewing once, just because I like to review the stuff I read. There, the incentive is small and just a nice one-time bonus (platina coupon). And I tag occasionally. But there's a lot of wrong tagging around. It's just not doable to downvote everything. Tagging incentive is too high, I think the rewards should be made different.

It's not possible anymore to get Unassigned drops over Average.
