Say, I see that item shop bot is buying noodlies for 60k. Do you think I can sell them for that much in WTS?

I don't think so. The bot buys HGW @17k too, while most wts sell it for 9-10k

many things are sold for something like half of shopbot price. there's a reason, but i never fully understood how it works (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) This post has been edited by Scremaz: Sep 22 2016, 00:04

That's my guess. In many games some players don't use certain features for fun/challenge, HV is no exception. In matter of fact I thought about it too at some point (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE(Benny-boy @ Sep 22 2016, 01:35) I think some players just play without MMs (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I did and used the bots for a while. I knew of the forums, but it hadn't dawned on me what the WTS and WTB forums were for a couple of months if I remember.

I think I was around level 150 when I first posted here (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I think what caught my attention was Scremaz telling me the price of the ED when I had 5 and just like 20k credits

QUOTE I finished IW'ing my Rapier today. It will probably remain my main weapon for some time (Sunken Cost Fallacy, whoo); is it advisable throw some Bindings at it? I have no immediate purchases planned, just a Silver/Gold Star down the road.

QUOTE(DamienCash @ Sep 22 2016, 02:38) I finished IW'ing my Rapier today. It will probably remain my main weapon for some time (Sunken Cost Fallacy, whoo); For Legendary Slaughter rapier, that's completely fine, any "significant" upgrades will cost an incredible amount regardless of level. Unless you're rich or see yourself being rich in the future, I wouldn't worry at all about throwing significant amounts at upgrading a weapon you'll use for a very long time. QUOTE(DamienCash @ Sep 22 2016, 02:38) is it advisable throw some Bindings at it? I have no immediate purchases planned, just a Silver/Gold Star down the road. You could. Probably AD, Parry, and Dex. For AD, probably don't use more than exactly 10 bindings, because at 11+ you'll be losing 2x(Binding of Slaughter cost) on salvage instead of 1x. The other bindings are a lot cheaper, so the loss of one or two isn't something to worry about. If you eventually spend ~2m total on forging I think that'd be quite justifiable. (but not much more than that, until you become rich, due to diminishing returns)

Someone was saying something about potencies and the usefulness of Economizer earlier Here's an IWBTH-fest I just did, with moderate Elec gears and moderate forging. All that really matters is the mana potion count, which is -47, or 4.2k, or 1% of total revenue Past a certain point, mana costs just aren't significant, and reducing overall mana usage by 25%, for example, with Economizer 5, might not even increase net revenue by 1%. Other potencies, if level 5 increases clear speed by more than just 1% (which shouldn't be hard at all), are likely more attractive. Though, this is with elec, which has less mana usage compared to holy/dark. Level is also high, which helps with abilities / clear speed, so I get frequent mana gems. So this isn't exactly comparable to the situation of a medium-level holy/dark user. I'm not sure if mana costs would be significant enough to be worth more than Penetrator/Spellweaver/Archmage (no-Imperil, low difficulty), but I'm tempted to think Economizer still likely isn't a good choice. (If, of course, the player is rich/lucky enough that they can choose multiple desirable potencies instead of just having high Archmage (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif))

I was wondering, what is the fastest way to level up?
I'm currently only doing Random Encounters in Nintendo difficulty, most of the arenas I cleared are on Hard when I used to finish them daily.

Toplist / donate, and then play on as high a difficulty as you can manage comfortably while maintaining high turns/second. 1h is a must at your level, combined with Power armor. Experience from REs doesn't matter, it's too tiny to be worth considering if someone is playing often enough that they want to level up in as short a time as possible.

Yea, eco was quite important in limited pots era, but now i dont see much sense in that. Sometimes its not awful, because at the end even 10% mdb is probably only 2-3% of overall magic score, which probably gives less than 1% of clearspeed for imperil playstyle. But it also means any of that is inconsiderable. I prefer counter-resist and cast speed, because both make playing a bit easier.

Alright, thanks for the input. I'm currently wearing only Power armor and recently switched from DW to 1H so I'm grinding proficiencies while looking for a better weapon since the one I have I got it at like level 200 or so and my shield is super ass. After a quick look at the donation perks it seems only worth it if you go straight for gold star or above, am I right? I also have my Adept Learner training at 200 so I don't know if that will do it meanwhile.

Gold is very, very good for playing HV. But I started with bronze, then silver, then gold. Bronze and silver are pretty nice. Apart from the double monsters, they are worth what you pay. And, you get actual credits for donating: 1m for 100 USD, 500k for 50USD, and 250k for 25USD.

QUOTE(Vilis @ Sep 23 2016, 08:12) http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=260e193c9fWhat price you think I should stop bidding for it? I can afford to soulfuse it and it's a huge upgrade to my current shoes: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=7dfd001165 Try taking your daily income into account and measuring its worth from that angle. E.g., is this piece of equipment worth 3 days of my income? 6 days? Two weeks? It is "only" Magnificent, and while not a dealbreaker, means it likely has a shorter shelf life than a Legendary. I would probably have a ceiling of 300k for any piece I was not planning to commit to. This post has been edited by DamienCash: Sep 23 2016, 14:38
