QUOTE(Fudo Masamune @ Feb 3 2016, 22:06) we really need some quality OP doujin instead of these CGs (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Kurione-sha did nice things, iirc. even Acid Head, if you like the style. just to name a couple of still active artists... QUOTE(jacquelope @ Feb 3 2016, 22:10) it's not so much. take the 4 2nd page arenas prior to SGs - which means T&T and the three before: they have already 2k mobs, so it will only need 25 days or so at that pace to return of that investment. even less depending on ED/Artifact ratio. i will stick with Arch 3 as well for a while, but if i really played a lot it would still be more worthy than many other things...

Still curious about maging and I must ask -
What is meant by "4+1" and "3/2" mage sets on the previous page?
Is this a mixture of different armor?

Phase (first number) + prof cloth (second number). So, for example, 4 phase of Mjolnir and one cloth of the elementalist. Or 3 phase of heimdall + 2 cloth of the heaven-sent for holy 3+2.

QUOTE(jacquelope @ Feb 3 2016, 21:10) Nah I think I'll stick with Arch lvl 3. With my current level of training, 43460 monsters = 42.80 estimated artifacts = 770336 credits or so (@ 18k). If I had had one less level of Archaeologist, factoring in the effect of Quartermaster/Scavenger and maxed PLs, 43460 monsters = 40.66 estimated artifacts = 731819 credits or so. So the final training of Quartermaster has paid me back almost 40k over the past few days. It's a long way from breaking even, but +15k/day is still a very large change. HV wealth is very very top-heavy, the more resources you have, the more income you gain, and training is a big part of this.

Yea, or sometimes we also can intend prof factor. 4+1 with forge usually gives around 0,7x and 3+2 full 1,0 prof factor. QUOTE(jacquelope @ Feb 4 2016, 00:10) 500,000 monsters!!!
Thats indeed not so much. For good mage its ~60 hours. So first time its payback, but after that 800k+ additional profit each another 60 hours. This post has been edited by nec1986: Feb 4 2016, 01:38

Interesing... just for shits and giggles, how many mobs do they have in the SG arenas? This post has been edited by jacquelope: Feb 4 2016, 01:41

this: QUOTE(simrock87 @ Feb 4 2016, 00:42)
btw, i took only the first combo that popped into my mind. obviously no need to play everyday the very same arenas etc etc. it was only a practical example

What does the "reset" do to my abilities? Will I be able to get back the ability points that I had spent?

Yes, that's exactly what it does. I have no idea why everything costs 0 Credits though; perhaps it used to cost a few credits in the past?

err , nope reset ability never cost credits when tenb begin to replace old tree skill in 2013 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) meanwhile , reset slot ( reset all ) will need credits (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yeah, but the last level of Archaeologist costs 8m and the one before it almost 4.8m. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) Assuming your calculations are correct and it gives +15k/day, it will take you ~533 days of grinding just to pay back the cost of the final level. That's more than double the total amount of time I played HV and I'll probably sooner grind to lvl500 or lose interest before wasting so much time, meaning it will never pay for itself much less give profit. Scavenger/Quartermaster/LotD are expensive too, but at least they slightly increase the odds of getting a good Legendary/Peerless that would pay for them in one go (fat chance, I know), meanwhile Archaeologist only has artifacts and occasional ponies.
