QUOTE(Vasistas @ Aug 19 2011, 00:45) meh, it is worth casting when leveling your equipment or trying to finish something on IWBTH. Otherwise just a waste of mana because if you need it you went too high in difficulty. btw, grats to godslayer (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Yeah, thanks. So I guess I'll wait until I'll ding lvl 400 and be all shiny and glowy. Alright, now I've got 220% overcharge and honestly... I did not notice any DPS output change. So very boring...

do you use shadow or power armor with high ADM? I prefer shade, you get not as much ADM as power but it has less burden and gives you agility bonus which makes up for the lower ADM and IMO it is therefore faster than heavy power armor. the second thing is it has no piercing mitigation at all but think about it. if you level where this hurts you, you're probably pretty slow. leaving IW/Grindfest earlier or lowering difficulty a little improves the total exp you make per hour at the expense of stamina.

Shade. My pieces are pretty crappy though, mostly Of Negation. 51% resist chance would be useful if DEM DAYM GIANTS weren't using PHYSICAL attacks instead of magic. Daym Giants.

I'm so tempted to switch to melee one day to have a try, but I'm way too lazy to replan my entire character build all over again. I have like 15 shade pieces altogether, and so few phases (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I feel like kind of a wuss for doing the first 4 arenas of RoB on Normal, but half of them almost did kill me anyway. At least I'm 40k richer now... I might need a better rapier for dual wield, the one I have has a pretty lower attack rating. I'm not sure whether to use these trophies at the shrine, or to sell them. If I used them, the resulting gear would be about equal to my current level, which I have no use for since I just bought a couple sets of level 100+ gear. If I sell them (to a high level player that would most likely get some high level gear), the resulting profit wouldn't be all that much. This post has been edited by Koudesu: Aug 19 2011, 00:27

I'm not sure maces are any good for the arena. RoB, maybe, if you dual wield maces with a very high proc rate and a long duration (at least long enough for you to stunlock bosses until they're dead).

(IMG:[ i195.photobucket.com] http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z288/chansikka/channal.jpg) QUOTE The following can randomly trigger whenever you cast any spell. The exact chance of the spell triggering depends on how much mana the spell costs compared to your base mana
QUOTE Arcane Focus (Also called Arcane Meditation) - You attain a higher level of attunement with the arcane forces, increasing magic power, accuracy and crit chance. Casting Arcane Focus will dispel Heartseeker. Base cost is 100. Base duration is 50.
Huh... so where is my Channeling (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Isn't base cost 100 = 100% chance for getting channeling effect? This post has been edited by Loli connnnn: Aug 19 2011, 05:08

Nope. No one knows the exact chance except Tenboro. You can only assume that higher mana cost and lower base mana = higher chance of Channeling. I guess it does mean putting more points in int and wis has the added side-effect of less Channeling.

Nope, 100% of level isn't 100% channel chance.
