I still melee regularly, so I'm still intimate with its workings. I'm probably gonna do DWD this weekend with my Slaughter armor for lulz since I hit 300 sooner than expected with the monster composition change.

I do my part by making sarcastic jabs about how much melee sucks rather than flat-out trolling. Its usually more subtle.

Wow. It pays to update your gear once in a while. The scythe I just got is destroying Arenas. At least until I got critted for 600 damage and died (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) damned Giants.

Tested it in grindfests, oddly enough I still reach a limit of about 30-40 rounds until I have to retire. It's still loads faster than dual wield though. Guess I'll just save dual wields for RoB.

I melee regularly and I don't find it to be too bad. In some scenarios meleeing is actually far superior to maging.

Also, I'm a sad panda that no one finds my monster annoying.

That's not how tenboro works. He'll nerf melee back down to mage level soon enough.

The only people who should notice her are melees and fire/cold mages. Elec/Wind mages would tear her a new one since her resistances are still negative.

Nobody remembers my Commandments for Melee Players back when I actually replied seriously in this thread as one of the major melee players.

Is it better to use some equip that is higher than your level? Because I have 2 equips, one is on my level, and the other is higher. the higher one give better stats (the number in the brackets), and the difference in burden/interference is not much (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

edit: also is it better to use low bleed dmg with high chance, or high bleed dmg with low chance?

Using higher level item means it will scale itself as you level up, so it is up to you to decide.
If you've got hight crit chance you can afford yourself a weapon with low proc %. Still, I would not use a Scythe with <20% proc anyway.

It's not intentional. At some point, the damage bonus for overcharge and the hath perk was rolled into the "get attack damage" calculation, but it was never removed from the counter code.

Of course, since overcharge will eventually stop being used as a damage mod when it gets its true purpose, this will only affect the hath perk part of the damage when I get around to fix it.

also a personal rant, I feel that Regen I is near useless without shield, or my equipment just suck at hard. They do 90~ dmg and my Regen I is only 50 health (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

and I absolutely hate any monster that too stubborn to die, what's with one more hit to kill and miss for 3/4/5 turns? >_>

I've tried both of these:

My preference goes to
1. Kill Yggdrasil
2. Spam elemental spells on Urd -> Verdandil -> Skuld, in order to take advantage of those procs.

The Trio are easier than Konata.

in my experience (which isn't much more than yours really) I've found using a higher level item to be better as you'll have to change equipment less often (it'll grow with you so it gets better at the same time as you, instead of staying the same while you advance)

and

though the preference would be high proc AND high bleed, i would take the higher bleed over higher proc, depending on just how much. if it's 25% for 150 and 18% for 175 i'd say go for the proc. My current best bleeder is a longsword (bastard beat out all my scythes!) with 21% proc, 3 turns, 177 dmg. It's not -great-, but i haven't really found a better one in the WTS *when i have the money to buy it.

You forgetting about the duration for bleed. You want a decent duration as well, 3+ at your level would be good. I often see *decent* scythes on the bazaar from time to time, you might wanna check once in awhile.
