And if you haven't got a good staff yet, you can use 1h with phase O 3O It helps a lot with high difficulty arenas, with a bit slower clear speed but huge defend boost compare to staff ` 3`
Nimble waki with the same element seems to work best, but if you don't have one it's fine too. This build doesn't depend too much on gear O 3O Swap out after you got a nice staff (or when your level is high enough for what you already had)

I'm not looking for peerless tier charged phase O xO Something around magnificent is good enough O xO Since I will be using 1h phase for quite a long time, I only have to look for elemental damage base and attribute, everything else can be compromise O 3O

You should probably train your proficiency to around 2/3 cap before starting doing arenas with this though, or you will lack lot's of accuracy/mp boost/magic crit.... Shouldn't take too long, maybe a few hours O xO

And I don't know if I'm lucky or have the worst luck ever Q xQ I paid a huge sum this morning for a phase piece, and another with almost identical stats (accept for element) dropped tonight Q xQ
Should I try reselling it back to the 2nd bidder Q xQ ?

Magic proficiency training can take a while... From when I started at 0 prof around level 370 I think it took me maybe 10 days to get up to ~340 prof, and that was when I was also occasionally spellspamming in Crude IW for proficiency only. Or has the gain rate been changed?

Also, element is extremely important, it's only really interchangable if you don't have any gear yet (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) If you want to change, then sure, if I were you I'd PM the last bidder.

My current proficiency:
Cloth armor 213.26
Elemental 196.07
Deprecating 224.91

Don't know which shield to use, the only 2 decent ones i own are - Shield1(forged lv10 block, higher survivability but increased mana cost) | Shield2(Exq battlecaster unforged)

Cold - Mainhand | Cap | Robe | Gloves | Pants | Shoes
If not,
Lightning - Mainhand | Cap | Robe | Gloves | Pants | Shoes

Cold or Lightning are the only elements which i have phase for.
My main issue was survivability and mana issue (around round 20, i have to spam cures excessively and run dry on mana).
If i don't cast haste, my mana issue won't be that bad, however my survivability takes a beating.
Any tips to improving would be appreciated.

Have you tried Featherweighting your force shield? That's probably the most justified use of using Featherweight there is in the game.

Hopefully once your prof gets closer to ~4/5ths of your level or so, you should be clearing significantly faster, which will reduce the Cure problem.

Once you decide on an element, either soulfuse the ones more than 30 levels away, or junk them and use random Superiors instead, they'll have better stats.

Yeah, i did featherweight on the force shield.
As for soul fragments, they're all still in queue for my melee set.
Maging is gonna be a distance dream for me.
