Why you buying mana draughts? And why you cure often with 70pmi and 53% block?

Because the drops doesn't cover my consumption?
and I never said I cure often when using 1H...

or maybe since the resist chance is much more higher, I spent less time curing from magic damage

I just said that maybe since resist chance is much more higher then I don't have to cure from monster's magic nuke as much as when using 1H, hence less mana needed.

But mana problem is a bit weird. You use gems? Or you put draughts in spellspam rotation?

Maybe the gem is the problem, after moving to Iron I don't have the script to show/notice me that I got gems, so most of the time it sits in the inventory until the battle ends. (thinking about looking for one times to times but I just don't have the drive for it)

So its probably gems. 50% base mana each 100 monsters is quite solid amount.
About spellspam its possibly to use draughts by cd. I dont think its good idea, because in my case with high action speed it has 100+ turns duration. So i just use binded keys for that. But maybe someone doing in other way.

nah, I click drought when reaching ~35% mana

oh, did you always use imperil?
maybe it's also because I always use imperil at least once in the start of the round to speed things up, it becomes a habit after doing it to grind the depreciating proficiency.

Nope, it was very similar result with imperil, so i just decided to use simple way with hover. Its also faster in t/s. Well, actually im not playing melee quite long time. After spending solid amount in mage set it gives pretty result and because last time i dont play much it fits perfect. Ive tried once, but overall difference between cheap pre 0,82 patch melee set and current mage is just too big. As i remember it was 5 and 25 minutes for iw run.

I was more or less like that when on your level, maybe even worse since I'm still using exq rapier until lvl 360.
no need to feel down about it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) just get a better shield, with higher block chance you wouldn't need to cure too much.

It's not about trying to not dying, it's more about mana and spell management,
by can't really play is because If I'm not mistaken you can't just blindly hover your mouse up and down on the monster list like when playing melee using spellspam/hoverplay/mousemelee, you need to tap sometimes, choose which monster to tap, chose which monster to cast the spell according to what debuff affect them etc etc.

He has quite low mana cost, so he probably using kite/buckler and for 58% block he forged that minimal 30-35 times (or use enchant). Quite good parry, so he probably forged that in rapier a bit also. And sure adb, but probably thats slaughter and without high budged that should have not so high base pmi. He forged that too probably a bit.

UPD. Or maybe he is using new power of protection without pmi forge, but instead adb.

Post 0.82 leg and some basic forging should net you an increase of ~500 ADB probably.
A +5 forged armor with decent stats should have 22-23ADB, 10 higher than your current one.

Rapier, helmet and gauntlets are self found, for the rest just get some credits and check the auctions.
