Just finished this. Which is better, the one i just IW'd (wind/void/but4/fata3/op2) or my current Rapier (holy/void/but4,op4,ss1), should i replace my current one? If no, how much can i net from selling it? Thanks. p.s. overpower and swift-strikes really is a pain in the ass for main-hand rapiers =______=

Don't expect it to sell for much. The low level players who would use it tend not to have much money. This post has been edited by Dammon: Oct 28 2015, 14:32

BLAST it. I'd buy that rapier off of you for my freeshop but it's lvl310, newbs couldn't even use it even if they had the cash.

I have one similar Exquisite Demonic Rapier of Slaughter (not level 10 though) I dropped ages ago. I think there are people who might want to use something like it, but I don't have a shop myself so it has been rotting in my inventory for a good 40 levels now.

Silly question, I know it's hidden somewhere in the Wiki's giant word walls but I can't find the answer...
Does IW affect forge EXP?

I just have a weird thought: Do PFUDOR IW of Peerless gears give better drops than PFUDOR GF? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) This post has been edited by tetron: Oct 28 2015, 17:03

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) QUOTE(Frederiksc @ Oct 20 2015, 16:30) Well, the main benefit of it are the last 20 rounds, including the very last one. I got almost all Legendaries dropped there, when I remember all arena drops. The secret behind this is the scaling of mobs inside a arena. I think we discussed drop chance vs difficulty enough, so we should quality modifier vs power level, too. Trophies can be described this way, directly correalted to the Power Level of a Boss. FSM has a PL of 7000 (estimated), Yggdrasil ~ 1400. SGs ~ 2800, Konata > 2800. The dragons should be at least ~ 4500 - 5000 and they are not bound to drop trophies.
The normal monster PL cap is 2250 and there are very few of them having this PL. Lower than any SG. So for arena and ROB, DWD and TT&T offer the highest, long arenas with SGs an adequate, and long arenas an acceptable drop chance on Legendaries, IF that correlation is correct. You can observe that scaling also in IWs with the round cap. After round ~80 monsters drop a higher quality on items - at least that is what I observed.
You should be able to reproduce this by IW'ing a PXP 400+, because the formula in the Wiki seems to be outdated. It should state something with PXP, because I get less rounds when I do some IW jobs, even if the overall quality is higher, but PXP is lower. Any peerless offering 100 rounds should be treasured therefore as a possibility to grind the good stuff.
According to Frederiksc they might give better drops. I can lend you my 403 PXP breastplate if you want to try (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

The wiki said IW drop quality bonus is identical to grindfest.
And I just died in IW on Hell Q AQ 3 spells attack = dead cat, not even spirit shield can help Q xQ Why does Tenboro has to make them hit double triple their normal attack >"< He wants all the noobs to do IW in normal all the way to lv 10 or something >"<

What do you need forge EXP for? I think there are services in WTS that will upgrade your equipment to level 100/50 for free if you supply all the materials. My forge level is only 11, but I have not upgraded any of my equipment even to the base max of 25 upgrade levels. High grade materials, binding costs and diminishing returns restrict my upgrading in the higher upgrade levels. Edit: of course if you have soulbound items, you can't send them for someone else to upgrade. In that case wanting more forge EXP makes sense. This post has been edited by Logii: Oct 28 2015, 17:45

Cats know they can use Spark as well, it's the secret behind their nine lives.

I'm actually IWing a soulforged item and aiming to get a few of them up to upgrade level 5. But in any case now I see why people offer free upgrading services - that was always a mystery to me. I think a better question for me is whether Forge rank affects IW speed... probably not, right?

Nope, you can only use difficulty setting and soulbinding to affect the amount of PXP gained in IW per run. Higher forge level allows you to forge higher upgrade levels for your equipment, like at my forge level 11 I can upgrade most stats to level 30 and ADB/MDB to level 61. Upgrading equipment in forge does however grant some PXP for the equipment you are upgrading, as long as they are not at potency tier 10.

Nope. In the past Forge Level was important, because it affected the Salvage process directly. Now, it's useless.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) Too bad, I could simply not do PFUDOR runs on that piece to take advantage of the possible drop boost, I would die or have to flee before reaching round 100. What kind of Peerless equipment do you have that is over 400 PXP, if I can ask? Light armor? Good luck though, I'll keep an eye on The Legendary Equipment Thread for your drops (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
