QUOTE(karururu @ Aug 4 2011, 17:46) Then here comes my own silly question: how to kick IPU's ass in 6.0 as a mage? I mean, is there any way other than leveling up to 150 just for Dark spell?
Well... I kicked IPU's ass approximately at 125-130 (on Hard). Infusions of Darkness+some bubble-gum/flower vases+permanent Silence and Poison. But I've used melee attacks. Since you're a mage and your physical damage is low - you need to achieve Dark magic first, because other types of magic doesn't work against him. So you need to wait or temporarily switch to melee. If you're pick the last - use Void weapon and Holy mitigation Dragon Hide gear. This post has been edited by Evil Scorpio: Aug 4 2011, 16:08

Thanks indeed. I'd prefer a less boring way and farming proficiency is exhausted. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) Beside, a decent Void weapon costs huge bucks, let alone a full set of light armor. "No money - no honey". (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Dragon Hide mostly not very expensive, because nobody really interested in it. I've made a quick search and found some: Fine Dragon Hide Helmet of the Thrice-blessed (Level 295) Price: 4700 -> hereAverage Dragon Hide Breastplate of the Thrice-blessed (Level 185) Starting Bid: 1000 -> hereFair Dragon Hide Breastplate of the Thrice-Blessed/1600C -> hereFair Dragon Hide Breastplate of the Thrice-Blessed/1700C -> hereAverage Dragon Hide Gauntlets of the Thrice-blessed (Level 169) Starting Bid: 1000 -> hereAverage Dragon Hide Boots of the Thrice-Blessed/2800C -> hereAverage Dragon Hide Boots of the Thrice-Blessed/2600C -> hereDidn't found leggins though... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) About the Void weapon... It's not always so expensive too. Of course excluding the auctions. Check equipment thread more often and contact to the owners directly. Then you can buy it for a decent price. This post has been edited by Evil Scorpio: Aug 4 2011, 16:44

Thanks very much for ur advice! A little question for me, isn't Flower Vase / Bubble-Gum only last 7 turns? If u finish FSM at 75turn by keep using that, I think u'll need at least 6 of them at least....?

Thanks, and a noob question... how to set the scroll and Infusion Slot auto restock while in battle?
as last time I used it, I don't remember that can be instant restock.... just simply light the "auto" at the item page?

Yes, lighting up "Auto" for infusions and scrolls reloads them during battle as long as you have some in inventory.

I know it's a long shot, but i'd recommend anyone around my level or lower to glance at the bazaar every so often, sometimes the high-levels toss stuff in there that is nowhere near shit for us lowbies.
I bought someone's lv 177 superior void club (i bet it was one of you guys!) which was basically what allowed me to win my first Konata fight, for (at the time) chump change.
There's no way i'm winning one of those fights at my level as a melee without a fairly-constant stun proc.
The bazaar is a huge pile of shit to dig in but once in a blue moon, that pile of junk has some sortof decent treasure.

QUOTE(DarkDespair5 @ Aug 4 2011, 21:33) I'm still horrendous at grading equips. Is this worth anything? http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=cd2e1dd428 It has a loooooot of fire EDB at least when compared to my staff... Fire EDB is decent (3.9 base, max is ~5.1), so is MAB. Evade is kinda meh (2.50 base, max is around 4.50-5 IIRC). You could probably make some money selling it.

- What exactly does Luck of the Draw affect in terms of Equipment? Higher chances of better Prefixes? Anything else? - If so, does that affect the Ethereal drop rate? Or is it just that, by being more likely to have better equipment drop, the chances of encountering an Ethereal weapon is higher, but the rate remains the same? - As a Dual Wielder, is there any use for stats in INT? I've leveled up WIS for MP and Magic Regen, but with the ability to remove points and INT only increasing my MP every 4 points, I'm thinking of removing some stats there and placing them in STR.
I've been keeping some equipment that's been selling for more than my other stuff (mostly Dragon Hide, Gossamer and Katalox equipment, since I'm equipping what few Shade and Phase ones I do have.
- Should I bother keeping anything that's under "Fair" or even at "Fair"? - Having only recently recently gotten over level 100, most of these items are under level 100. Most of the WTS threads have level 150+ users selling their equips around their level. Given that my items are such a low level, should I bother trying to sell them there, or would it just be better to dump them all for some credits and try this again later on with higher leveled equipment? - I'm expecting the answer to this being "No", given the large variety of possible equipment, but I figure I'll ask it anyways. Is there a page or a reference I could go to that gives an possible ranges of base stats for equipment so I can see if my equipment are any good in comparison? (Or do I pretty much have to keep track of the base stats of my own and determine which ones are good from there?)

QUOTE(rawrboy @ Aug 3 2011, 02:27) Probably better off selling it. Faster melee weapon for killing at your level is probably a 2H, I went from 50-100 pretty quick. My stats as a 2H user is below, I've recently only started playing HV again, and when I came back and played leveling up seemed to be easier or at least I think.(maybe i did too much cakefest back then). When I'm done with Arena I usually do Grindfest on IWBTH difficulty which nets me an average of about 13-14k xp per round with stamina xp bonus. So it's been taking me average about 20rounds to get a level. My current 2H Fine Scythe of Slaughter[attachmentid=8225] So ADM is more important than AAB? Also, when is a 'good level' to switch into battlecaster?

Most melee players keep it up a fair amount (equal to 60-80% of their level). QUOTE Should I bother keeping anything that's under "Fair" or even at "Fair"?
Vendor them unless they have a rare attribute (ethereal, phase, etc.) QUOTE Given that my items are such a low level, should I bother trying to sell them there, or would it just be better to dump them all for some credits and try this again later on with higher leveled equipment?
Doesn't hurt to try selling to other players first. QUOTE Is there a page or a reference I could go to that gives an possible ranges of base stats for equipment so I can see if my equipment are any good in comparison?

dmg formula simplified for the mods:
dmg = (int+various factors) * (1+EDB value/100) * (1+MDM value/100) * (1+Prof/200)

I'll lower my INT from 101 to about 80 over time.

Heaven-sent: cheaper, easier to obtain. Heimdall: Cure heals more + more damage, even Heimdall gear with min base EDB > Heaven-sent gear with max base proficiency due to multiplicative adding.

Not necessarily. QUOTE(Ballistic9 @ Aug 4 2011, 21:49) multiplicative adding
This hurts my head.

No need to keep using vase & gum, sorry, that is my fault. I think one vase & gum set is sufficient. Cum it at the nearly end, since the closer to dead FSM is, the more crazy damage it makes. Let Infusion of Divinity handle the rest. I'm very not sure whether taking Infusion alone can beat the mob. Maybe you can try this out. This post has been edited by karururu: Aug 5 2011, 05:56
