Okay I'm ready to part with a huge amount of credits today. I'm gonna do this now or do it later but I'm gonna spend the quid regardless.
How much should I offer to pay for figurines in WTB? I need 19 of em.

I think I might have missed some posts about the current ~soul-fuse~ nonsense.
I just noticed on one of my last Soul-fuse that stats went down. So I wrote all of them down for the one I just did. Absolutely they did go down. To lose over 100 points of attack damage by soul-fusing the item ?
Prefix benefit remained the same and (of course) Burden and Interference naturally stayed the same. All other stats went down, so the 'upgraded' item actually downgraded my overall stats. I know the little in-game is a joke, I know the more you try to upgrade the worse everything gets for you. But still.
Explanation ?

The last time someone opened a WTB for Ponies, it was 30k per piece.

Explanation ? Maybe the equip was level 430. You are level 407, so everything is de-scaled to 407 when you soulfuse. When you get to 430, the stats would be identical to what you noted, and later they'll be higher.

Since people seem to be willing to sell them for 30k each, you can try with a slightly lower price and probably get them too, like 28 or 29k.

Maybe the equip was level 430. You are level 407, so everything is de-scaled to 407 when you soulfuse. When you get to 430, the stats would be identical to what you noted, and later they'll be higher. yup x2. now that items are level-bound, you will see stats adapted to the level of the person who dropped it: this means that if the person has a higher level than you, then stats will appear bigger than what they are to begin with, and once soulfused they will lower. the opposite if the levle is bounded to a lower level than you. be careful to compare *BASE* stats, not scaled ones currently there are three reasons to soulfuse an item: - you aren't able to find decent replacement for your gears and the level of your item is too low if compared with your current one. this means you may earn a certain boost in your stats only by soulfusing it. note that with 'too low' we mean something like 50+ levels, at the level where you are now.
- you found a good replacement for your gear, but it's too high level for you. you will implicitly accept that the item will lowers its stats because the only other option would be not to use it.
- you want to close an IW in half time, since soulfused items recieve 2x PXP and don't care about anything else.

So, I have another question, since I am trying to level up my melee proficiencies now, I am wondering. Is it better to use Heavy or Light armor? I already have a suit of heavy armor, but so far, the damage mitigation seems to not have all that much of an impact compared to when I was a mage wearing cloth armor. I have more HP, but also take more damage due to more monsters landing hits it seems like. so, I am wondering if the ability to dodge is more effective defensively than damage mitigation.

that depend on what you like/prefer (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) light ( shade ) have better action speed , crit and evade while heavy ( power ) have better ADB , PMI , MMI & HP (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Apparently mana consumption is a big problem for heavy armor users before level 300 or so. Vulnurability to magic attacks is a big issue as well - I'd hold off on heavy armor until being able to equip one or two good Power Slaughter in combination with a high level of Spirit Shield - maybe at level 250. After accounting for proficiency, I don't think damage taken is all that different. Fighting style affects damage taken a whole lot more (2h = suicide, 1h = invulnerable).

No no no. I didn't mean Rounds. I meant Total number of Turns you play in a single day.
