just FYI, raising base ADB means also raising crit ADB, elemental strike ADB etc etc. i would expect that +10% damage may bring to > 10% reduction time or so

im just keeping those crudes to train in IW at higher difficulties for easy exp, read about it somewhere.

2h is probably the fastest style for low-level players, so that's fine. A bit after level 150 you might want to switch to 1h for a massive defense boost, because monsters start getting a lot tougher starting then.

Upgrading Intelligence a little is OK since it increases your base spirit pool, which means more Spirit Stance before you run out of SP. (Intel can be upgraded to ~3/4ths of your level)

Mage is prohibitively difficult for those under level 310 or so, for quite a few reasons. You'll probably be better off switching to 1h, once monsters start getting tough.

Use Better Mana Pots. It's better to use mana to buff and cure etc than it is to use health pots and items - it's more cost efficient, and the buffs last longer.

i suggest you not to switch to mage build yet.
but surely you can raise WIS for bigger Mana Tank, and slot Better Mana Potions and Better Spirit Potions abilities. you may also sacrifice a level on Slashing Mitigation ability if you're short on APs.
also, you should have unlocked Spark of Life by now, it's quite useful to survive at high difficulties.

you can go on with this build for another while, thus you may want to switch to 1H within 50 levels or so

it's in Heavy Armor family, or the second from right in the first row of your Ability tree. keep the first level since it's very cheap, but since slashing isn't so common don't bother with going further.

Hello, I've been away from HV for quite awhile, but played back when IWBTH mode was actually winnable, but after abilities like cure and potions were put on long cd's, I kinda stopped because I was struggling in even hard mode...

Now that I'm back, I had some questions regarding the current HV.
Are void weapons still considered the strongest? (For 2h and dual wielding)
Same as above question, but are maces and clubs favored among other melee weapons due to their stun?
Is there a way to beat the arenas and random encounters on higher difficulties without them one shotting you?
Since health potions and cures have ridiculously long cds, is there a way to survive when having low hp when the item and spell is on cd?
I heard there was a death penalty when defeated. Was wondering what it is

not exactly. currently 1H is the overpowering melee style, and since it already include (counter)stun, the best weapon to pair it is rapier.
as for maces, in general 2H style is viable at lower difficulties. imo maces are still the best, but we're still speaking about the best among the worst. somehow it may still be viable even at high difficulties, but you need high levels as well.
as for clubs, DW style is still viable. among the many combinations, the best atm are (rapier of slaughter + waki of nimble) and (club of slaughter + rapier of balance)

raising your defensive stats and casting your defensive buffs first. since potions don't require turns, they may be useful as well.
in your shoes, for a RE i'd do: Health Draught > Protection > Spark > Haste > Regen, with Cure when needed. Heartseeker if you earn a Channelling effect from Regen, otherwise skip it since it's quite long to cast. Shadow Veil if needed.
another option may be to switch to 1H style, which is currently the best available
