QUOTE(Vasistas @ Jul 22 2011, 12:51) it says "7% Exp / power" what does that exactly mean? btw, I have 7 activated Auras, upgrading from left to right mostly. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) can't wait to reach 350 to max them all. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) Each gold star above the first gives you a new aura. Get 10 more, and you'll max at 250. This post has been edited by cmdct: Jul 22 2011, 14:56

Okay, so the line just leads to the missunderstanding that you get 7% EXP per Power. But it just means that that you get per rank 7% Exp and per Rank 7 Power? and there is no use for those surplus aura points then? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

So about farming IW, how do I decide what difficulty is best for me? Do I pick a difficulty where I can go as far into the run as possible, or a higher difficult to maximize my Exp each run? I also assume most people farm using Exquisite items?

@midnight i'd have to agree with buktore. and i guess it depends a lot on your current set up. if you're going power gear, then as buktore says "evade is for pussies (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)" and i personally don't think that's too smart getting +3% evade when the rest of the gear (power) will give none. now on the other hand, if you're shade (of fleet)... then IMO ignore what buktore said and yellow that shit up @rawrboy deciding which method is best for you is entirely up to *how* you want to level - more specifically, how you value your stamina/time on HV if you do a very very high difficulty, you save a *lot* of stamina but you're likely to consume items/spend a lot of time/not much loot on the flip side, low difficulty spends stamina like water but you'll consume less items (if any)/spend less time per round/get more loot so it's at trade-off. you just need to find the balance you want. e: and yes most players farm using exq items for IW. up until the higher level arenas are available - anyways. I am planning to switch back to light armor soon. But I don't know if I will stick to light or heavy though.

as for stats. if you're going power gear i'd suggest str>dex>end>rest if you're going light i'd suggest str>dex>agi>rest yay for the restat ability (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

What a noobish advice! All l33t players agree this is the optimum stats distribution. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) (from most > least imortant)Melee : STR > STR > STR > STR > STR > STR Mage : INT > INT > INT > INT > INT > INT QUOTE(dcherry @ Jul 23 2011, 02:09) and i personally don't think that's too smart getting +3% evade when the rest of the gear (power) will give none. now on the other hand, if you're shade (of fleet)... then IMO ignore what buktore said and yellow that shit up
Experts agree, the sentence in bold is true.

Of course not. I was just bullshiting around for the heck of it. And, indeed, what I said should be ignore. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) *Serious advice* @MidNightPass : Make sure you have a good light set first (IE: a decent shade/kevlar) before switch to it. "Leather armor" is, in fact, not light armor, it's junk armor. This post has been edited by buktore: Jul 22 2011, 22:13

I am buying a set from WTS. It might not be very good, but at least giving me something to start with and gradually build upon it. Thanks for advice.

Working on an HV Monster Sensor so I'm curious to know what the maximum number of monsters per round in GF, IW, Arena is. Right now, I'm assuming it to be 15, but I'd like to make sure since it could be a source of bugs. edit: Thanks! Try it out, it should be working now. yeah i believe it is. 9 is max unless a boss/legendary/god spawns (then it can be 10)
ie manbear+

huh, may i ask a question which is.... do auto-cast gain proficiency? at this thrad "Ask the Experts!" , user cmdct answered at Feb 26 2011, 17:37 saying "yes" but at https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=22816 , cmal saying at Post #3 result a "no" so, do auto-cast gain proficiency? if it does, how do it gain? it gainned every round with the same chance as i cast manually? (wow if this is true, that will be fantastic since i have much more "roll" chance for getting proficiency by just using a few mana (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif))

You have a chance to gain proficiency each round but the chance is lower than if you cast manually.

it adds proficiency. i'm assuming when IA (innate arcana) first came out, it might not have gained any proficiency. but right now it does. notice cmal's post is ~1.5 years old
gain will be (as always unless you have assimilator or maxed the prof already) 0.01-0.03
chance to trigger gain will be proportionally less but you get the chance to gain prof every turn auto-cast is active
