Do bosses one hit you when they get a crit agitated attack? This happened to me when I forgot to bewilder White Bunneh and got Aww'd @ Twisted Plots.

Tried Real Life as a pure mage.
Lasted about ~400 turns before he (she?) critted me on the exact same turn Bewilder expired.
I could only do ~350 damage at best even with Arcane Focus active.

How is FSP compared to RL?
I was thinking of taking him next since he at least has a weakness I can exploit.

question 1 : does your difficulty setting affects your drop rate in iw/grind fest/ring of blood and arena?

question 2 : What's the maximum level currently?

Well, yeah. Got globalwarmed in arena by hard MBP (without being agitated, but without bewilder applied. Actually, I did not put a single ability in that spell for some reason. I wonder if this would be a good time to start using it, huh...)


Edit: Wiped out Yuki. Buffs, infusions, bewilder, etc... Seriously, I already lost to THIS three times?

With regards to items, difficulty only affects the quality, drop rate is unchanged.

@Miala

If i'd be you, i'd put Ap in most of the depricating spells for bosses/legendaries&gods.

Poison halves the Hp/Mp/Sp regeneration and does damage
Weaken lowers Shield rate and Atk, also hinders the mob from doing crits
Bewilder the same thing with Barrier and magic attacks

If you have access to silence, get that too.

depends on need. i have yet to invest a point into bewilder and i'm doing fine. i personally like blind. SV + blind = yay

I use bewilder and weaken to fight bosses as their attacks may kill me nice and quick
ps. I use niten or DW style

Sorta. Once per hour should be your maximum frequency, and once per day as your minimum. This varies based on how often your monsters get kills obviously.

actually i should have corrected myself. my style of play prefers blind over bewilder but in your case bewilder is probably the safer bet - especially if that'll stop the spirit attack from 1 shotting you. i usually have spark up during boss fights so i'm not too worried and ripen soul heals spirit now so it's permi spark (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

@ichy for high PL giants/undead/mech/dragon it's probably twice a day (for a conservative person) - 12hrs x at least 10 battles won although i assume if it's much higher than 10 battles won in 12 hours.

i'm doing once every 24-30 hrs atm cause my monster PL's suck

Well, the way it works right now is, when you enter the monster screen it will roll on it if it's been more than one hour since you last checked. The number of hours (not rounded) is multiplied with the number of battles the monster has won since last time it brought you a gift.

Silence maybe useful if you only face the boss/legends at normal difficulty, that's all.
Bewilder's not a great spell. SV+ spark of life should be better.
And when you get spirit shield all those spells will become useless (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I just check them after every hourly encounter. No idea if it's best or not, but it should work better if you have monsters that win battles more often.

I has never user weaken or bewilder.
Silence is all you need (before getting spirit shield)
If you're melee with crappy weapond trying to kill legendaries, use....

Ah never mind this is advice for crappy weapons..
Use a heavy bleeder, will get nerfed with patch.
