Well I got a bunch of unassigned equips and I was wondering if someone would be able to tell me what's worth auctioning.

My nooby self is back to ask some questions regarding cotton and leather armor.

Are the cotton armor suffixes Warding and Protection useless? So they're okay to sell, right? How about Earth-Walker and Curse-Weaver?

And what about leather armor, same kind of deal with Warding and Protection? How about Dampening/Stoneskin/Deflection?

For average and below equips, should I be salvaging these or selling them? And for superiors and higher, it seems like selling is better than salvaging? As you can get those materials for cheaper in WTS.

Also how do you make money, I am like dirt poor. Less than 5k of credits usually. It seems like the best way to make money is to shrine the trophies from SG and complete as many of the low round arenas as possible for their equip drops?

Are monster PLs affected by how deep you are into an arena/grindfest or is the PL only affected by difficulty?

Leather/Shade has very high resist, so magic damage taken isn't really an issue. So, Warding isn't that good... it very slightly decreases damage taken, but the more useful suffixes help a lot more.

Stoneskin is nearly useless because very few monsters use Slashing. Same sort of thing.

Piercing and Crushing physical damage is extremely common, so Protection, Dampening, and Deflection are all decent, though Deflection is a bit better than Dampening because of light armor's weakness to Piercing, and Protection for all-around physical defense is probably a bit better than both.

That said, very few people who understand the game use light armor, especially leather, past level 200-something, so even Legendaries likely won't be worth much, if anything. Maybe this will change come the rebalancing patch, but I seriously doubt it. I recommend maybe saving Legendary leather that you might possibly want to play with yourself sometime, and sell/salvage everything else.

Unless you routinely play enough to get enough salvageable stuff to be worth selling, which you don't, it's better to sell.

Play daily arenas on high difficulty and one can get 200k/day or so. Add FSM to that and you get 35k or so more. Don't play SG arenas except on Normal, they take too long.

Shrining trophies will get you nothing unless you have exceptional luck. Since players at your level don't have the resources to gamble away your stuff, better to sell them than to shrine them.

you can use leather until you are strong enough to survive with shade (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Shade of fleet is good and cheap compare to arcanist & SD (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Better selling it to bazaar for superior above (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What are the most recommended potencies for staffs? Trying to decide if I should reforge the spellweaver potency and just go for archmage.

They take so freaking long though.

It takes me nearly 2 hours nowadays to finish all the PFUDOR SG Arenas as Elemental Mage. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Used to take ~90 minutes, but I'm having a little ping problem lately.

I think they are supposed to be useless just like plate and cotton, so we have rare grade armor.

New Shade has great ADB, but new Leather-Protection also has much higher PMI than before. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

which is better, spend 10 token on 2x flying spaghetti or 1x Triple Trio?

Triple trio not available yet for me but if its better to stick with flying spag then i'll use my token right away instead of waiting for the 200k clear bonus at lv 250.

The 1st time clear of RoB gives enormous credits. So the Triple Trio and the Tree should be cleared at least once for that Credit. After that, it's more profitable to stick to Flying Spaghetti Monster, because of Noodly Appendage.

as tetron said, the first clearing gives you a big credits boost, so it would be silly not to take advantage of this chance - doing it at normal is good enough, btw.

with this being said, assuming you have a limited amount of tokens it's better to do 2x FSM (~100k worth of noodlies + SG trophies + various) rather than 1x TTT (~70k worth of various trophies + much more danger)

Has the "Buffed Drop Period" returned? I got a Leg drop from DwD Clear Bonus again today (Even though it was a useless leather). This happened yesterday too (That was also leather though). (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Nope, I received trash as the clear bonus again.

By the way, I think there can be no good from asking this even if there were a buffed drop period. At worst, the boss is watching and decide that maybe drops are too buffed. At best... is there any good outcome really?

yup. yesterday it dropped a couple of exq. they were quite crappy, but still i could earn two MGs. quite a decent shot, i'd say (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
