The drop rate of RE was indeed increased at the beginning of patch 0.82. But it produced way too many top notch

I also think it has been nerfed a bit more after this 0.83 patch. By that, I mean I seem to be getting proportionally more superior quality stuff than compared to in 0.82.

Although I guess it all balances out with the new and improved arena bonuses.

Although I seem to be getting so much Mithril of protection lately.

Thankfully that stuff is still 100+ lvl away for me assuming I changed over. But I doubt it at the rate i'm going since I have never in my entire time playing actually gotten phase above the quality of exquisite, its also the same story with my staff collection. Its like this game doesn't want me to mage or something.

Also its all in the perspective, at my level nearly everything seems expensive.

Leveling up is not making it any cheaper, you just start to care less about that stuff.

1/10th of your level, rounded down and dinamically updating. in your case 31 and it will become 32 as soon as you reach lv320

Yeah I just found it strange because that is my 3rd Leg in the last 24 hours although I've only ever gotten 6 Leg in total ever which are:

2 Leg axes of slaughters
3 Leg Power of protection
1 Leg shade of fleet

I think there might be a pattern to drops. But with a sample size of 6 I clearly can't conclude anything yet.

EDIT:and yeah 95% of the time its superior crap for me too.

Legendary dropping everywhere. Lets hope this continues. Although repair bills will skyrocket, them leg are expensive to keep.

I don't think so, it's not efficient wearing full plate because of multiplicative formula(basically it's true for almost all player stats) and high mitigations from PABs, difference between full plate set and full shade set at PMi about 20% or even less but shade provide more useful stats instead.
Me think that the most efficient is power slaughter because it has a huge amount of damage, damage stack with additive formula - no loss in dmg. Also with new potion system mitigations is lose their importance(at least for 1H).

Looks like I hit a hot streak on drops, too. Got that staff last night, got a Magnificent Savage Shade Breastplate of the Shadowdancer just now.

Anybody have an idea how good the shade is? I know that shadowdancer is good. Agile is better?

Nah, you're not that far away. Lv.310 is the minimum level for Maging.

Before 0.82, Shielding Plate was very good. Now, due to the new potion system, not so much. Now, A Power of Protection instead is much better.

Dunno, I think its pretty strange too that all my leg armor drops have been the rare variations. My LOTD only 7/25 so its not really that high either. Although I think all luck is balanced out, as I said before, I've never ever gotten phase or any staff above exquisite quality.
