QUOTE(MidNightPass @ Jul 8 2011, 22:52) As an off-hand weapon, parry is more feasible?
It's depend on what you like. I pick nimble waki simly because the parry on balance waki is just too low. This post has been edited by buktore: Jul 8 2011, 17:56

QUOTE((Cheater) Tiap @ Jul 8 2011, 23:55) What's the best way to take on Real Life as a pure mage (as in, no melee/penetrated armor/bleeding wound shenanigans)?

Perhaps I just need to wait for a better waki (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) thanks

QUOTE(varst @ Jul 8 2011, 18:00) What's a decent deprecating proficiency (pre CW-bonus)? Right now I have ~21, which I'm guessing is not nearly enough.

Is the ability 'Haste' worth getting for 2h characters? What about dual wield? If so, what level should I bring it up to?

Should I focus on getting credits for training at my level (doing grindfest) or focus on getting exp for levels (doing item worlds)?
Because it doesn't seem like the gold from grindfest scales with level. Unless it does. Does it?
If it scales, I'd obviously want to level up for a bit and then get more credits out of grindfests thus being able to do more training.
Also, would it be better to sell my artifacts and trophies at my level? Or should I save them for later or use them right now?

i sell the artifacts and trained archeologist a bit, so i gain more artifacts that i can sell again etc.
i think you profit more by training scavenger, quartermaster and archeologist - go to IW and sell loot, then by GW

[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/7B79W.png <- My trainer screen at the moment. I've followed the general advice of training up the drops and quality ones. What's a good level to stop training archeologist? I'm already finding it really expensive. So IW > GF for me for now? What's GW?

woops, i meant GF of course, my bad.
and your image doesn't work, it gives the 403 - forbidden error.
probably you should train higher then me, since i don't rake in the money. but these are my training stats now :
Loot quality : 6 Scavenger : 19 Quartermaster : 5 Archeologist : 3
atm i don't spend money on training, before i've seen how some auctions work out for me.
and for a easier route for money, get to level 75 and beat the legendaries, this gives you 100k in total, minus cost for bubblegum/scroll of gods/scroll of life/infusion of divinity (if you need all that)
edit : which means, train adept learner on a satifactory level (i got mine on 60), but don't use ability points to raise the exp ability. Those ap are better used elsewhere. grind IW on hard in superior items or exquisite to gain a lot of exp. buy one from hitoki(i think? not sure who sells the exquisite gear, it's in the WTB - godly visage thread).

I think it's imgur and it hating on directly linking to the image. Try copying the URL instead of clicking it?
Is bubblegum dropped? I've found a bunch of scrolls of gods, scrolls of life, and infusions of divinity, but no bubblegum yet.

yes bubblegum drops, but very rarely. you're better off buying it from someone/the bazaar. But this is really a fast and cheap way to beat legendaries, you should be able to beat legendaries without them (i just did it because i wanted them credits fast and without hassle)
and yes the link works now, go to the edited part of my previous post. in short : train adept learner, IW superior/exquisit gear. Get exquisite from hitokiri(?) or pm me and i'll sell you a superior sword for cheap.

i've actually been wondering the same thing. i've never seen my stamina drop from a random encounter though... even when my stamina heals from 79 to 80 (but usually it takes 2-4 fights to drop it back down to 79) too hard to figure out since can't see the decimals (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I believe theres an answer to that on the HV wiki, search for Hentaiverse wiki on google. If I remember right, dying and failing to respond to the maze puzzle costs alot of stamina.

the maze has nothing to do with the hourly encounters.

I'd go for the superior one. More damage is always better.

true, but the superior one has a better bonus on str, which will translate into more damage.
although the bleed rounds on both are quite low.

Seems to need a bit of calculation to work this out.
