is the description for bewilder still accurate on EHWiki? Does it still prevent magic attacks from being critical strikes? I'm going to take it for sure, but it would be nice to know

QUOTE(n125 @ Jun 23 2011, 03:36) I'm at the point where I want to get some Hath Perks, like the Spectral Auras and Innate Arcana, but Hath just seems to be coming in at a very slow trickle. I can consistently get maybe 1 or 2 each day. So, what's the most efficient way to accumulate a lot of Hath? I'm looking at some options, like H@H, donating, or AAS (without spending a lot), and it still seems like it would take a long while to gather the hundreds of Hath needed for those perks.
Donating total 100$ gives a lifetime daily 1 hath bonus and more. ( source) You could adopt a serverslot, per slot cost 84$ for a year and gain 3 hath daily. ( source) If you have time then learn moonspeak and do translations for bounties.

Yes, it functions similar to weaken, except only for magical attacks (no crits and weaker hits)

By the way! I think I read somewhere that Weaken also makes the target more vulnerable to physical attacks. Is it (still) true? Does it also apply to Bewilder? (I mean, does it make targets more vulnerable to magic damage)?

It was definitely true for Bewilder when I looked into it, and quite possibly still is. AFAIK no one has ever actually checked that the same applies to Weaken, but it does say it on the tool tip for Weakened monsters, so...

Oh yeah, that's where I read it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Silly me, I should have thought about it! Thanks ^^

weakened monster will take more damage from physical hits than a non-weakened.
but from what I can see, a nerfed monster will take more damage than a weakened one.
However, weaken+nerf doesn't seem to stack from what I can see.

I'll bear that in mind for when I'll have access to Nerf (looking forward to it ^^ ).

Yea its a good spell, I also must clarify what I wrote above, I refer to the monster getting hit only, if you only nerf a monster it can still crit, but adding weaken prevents physical crit and further reduces hit strength even more so in that respect it seems to stack.

1) quick question regarding the stacking equation provided by sayo in the secrets revealed thread
"Spell damage = Base damage*(1.5 if a crit)*(1.5 if Channeled)*(1+MDM)*(1+EDB)*(1+prof/200)"
if this equation is true, does that mean that rather than stacking my modifers into either MDM,EDB or PROF
i should split them evenly? For example:
1.3*1.3*1.3=2.197 (splitting bonuses or 30% between MDM,EDB and PROF)
1.1*1.1*1.7=2.057 (concentrating mainly on just Proficiency bonus to give 70%)
Hence evenly splitting the bonuses gives 14% more damage. Am i correct to say that? Thanks

QUOTE(MiAla @ Jun 22 2011, 04:42) Um... What is that little stat table in the bottom-left corner? And what is that button on the top-right one? Are there some "mods" for this game? Is there any list of possible "client enhancements"?
This is the HentaiVerse Stat Calculator. It works really well for tracking your proficiencies in IM and for things like calculating your average daily EXP, etc. the link can be found here: HentaiVerse Stat

Hey seems like my question is burried a bit down already:
But what auras do everyone prefer?
(especially for a 2h+light armour type character).

QUOTE(DarkDespair5 @ Jun 25 2011, 23:31) Round 2 of Ask The Experts! I updated my equips. Now I just hit harder, but I die to a single chaincrit (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) APs: Remove all you have in the mitigation abilities, fill instead the rest of spells. Confuse is crap, poison is good for bigger mobs. The equip links are wrong I can't see any, but use ebony staff instead, and upgrade your gear, make a WTB thread and ask for it, you can get decent elementalist gear easily. I got the first 4 ones, on rank 2, as a 2h+heavy.
