Well Im buying ED when I was power levelling with the 80+ exp bonus, though now that there's nothing after 450 I can going back to self-sustain ED, Im pretty sure a number of people are also doing this, in fear of the equipment patch.

People are pretty crazy when panicked, Some guy even preemptively locked his 50m peerless phase by salvage-buy (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Of course, it won't work on Great stamina. Just if you stay in Normal.

Why would you do something like that? Tenboro already said how it will work, and I didn't see any cause for alarm... It will just become another credit sink to level up the equipment you don't want to lose. become under-leveled.

You aren't likely to get anything good from shrining them. Just hang onto them and sell them later at an inflated price to collectors in the future.

That mace isn't any good, and 2H sucks at higher levels. You should equip your offhand with a good rapier of nimble/balance. Penetrated Armor will allow you to deal a lot more damage.

My best (and only) rapier of Balance. I doubt that it would be better. And no rapiers of Nimble at all

Question mainly for those that did a switch from 1H to Mage

With the probable change to gear drops i think mage gears will be a little more common-place in the future, so switching to mage may become cheaper.
So, i'm currently grinding corresponding spell profs, followed by deprecating and, when i'm really really really bored, staff prof @Hell.
On the side i'm upping my Ability Point training to at least 175 for now as mage seems to eat a lot more in terms of abilities.

What would you suggest in terms of Magic Score before switching full-time?

No need to worry about magic score. Get a full set than play as mage immediately. Staff prof is almost useless. Magic prof will catch up soon so no need to grind both.

Eco lv 5 is good enough

Annihilator gives more score than Archmage unless you max-forge a lmax mdb destruction staff
Spellweaver is the most useful for grindfest, IW, and generally hard run, but will become obsolete in Arena

I can make sense of WIS and END since, well, mana does run out kinda fast right now and i feel really squishy.

Regarding the counter-resist bit... if i understood the last couple pages correctly, there is either the max mdb/edb way with imperil or otherwise 1 or 2 prof-cotton added in to increase counter-resist but then without imperil. Correct?

Credits do tend to come in on the side while leveling, the most noticable income for you will be first-time completion of newly unlocked arenas.
If you feel you're leveling too slowly, you might want to enter grindfest, after completing the various arenas for the day, and just bash things in there until you die. Then rinse and repeat (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Due to how damage is calaulated (i.e. log(int x 2 + wis, constant) ), the effect of INT and WIS on magic damage is rather small at your level.
So, WIS is just for more MP and slightly more MMI.

AGi is for evade. And DEX is for parry.
Since phase and cotton have no DEX, the effect of adding one point of DEX could be greater than adding one point of AGI in term of overall defence.

Str = Dex = Agi = End = Int = Wis.

1H = Not an issue
Mage = Not an issue
DW = Not an issue

Any kind of shade is fine to try things up. People tend to get shadowdancer, or fleet if the good one cannot be found.

Anyway, have you posted your proficiency on 2H and DW? You miss out good deal of attack power if you don't pay attention to them.
