It's not bad for a Kite. But the scaling for Block was changed, so shields now have less than they did before.

Its a bonus for when you offer it to the shrine. Which means you will have a higher quality equipment compared to for example dalek voicebox.

So I thought level 114 was good enough to take my chances against Invisible Pink Unicorn, as I didn't want to rush it as soon as I hit level 100. So I packed my inventory with 3 Godly Health Potions, 4 Godly Mana Potions, 1 Mana Elixir, 1 Flower Vase, Scrolls of Avatar/Shadows/Life and Infusions of Darkness/Gaia.

300,000 HP, I assumed I could do 500 HP with each dark hit so I figured it should take ~600 turns. Made constant use of Silence, so it never used any magic or spirit attacks..
385 turns later, IPU is still at over 60% HP, I'm out of items, hits me for ~1400 damage in 2 turns and I'm dead. A huge waste of Blood Tokens, Godly Potions and Avatar Scrolls. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

I normally put out up to 900 damage per hit again regular enemies, but even with Infusion of Darkness I could barely do 200 damage to Unicorn. And even if I had an infinite supply of Mana Potions, at this rate it would possibly take me over 2000 rounds to kill it, which doesn't sound normal... Any help? He probably mistook it as FSM, which you need Dark mit for.

Silence is a bad idea for someone who are not prepared. Also, you need PA to be able to do damage with melee.

Bleed + Weaken + Bewilder + Poison + Scroll of Absorb gameplan is probably the easiest and most foolproof way to kill Gods at low lv for most people.

Ya i meant holy. shouldnt realy be too expensive since cotton or leather works fine anyway.

Um.. what's PA? >_>;

And damn, I recently reset my abilities and got rid of Weaken/Bewilder/Blind/Poison as I thought Silence alone would work better. And to save up Ability Points for Overcharge (+42% damage).

Still, would they really make a difference when my Deprecating proficiency is only 29.78? Last time I used Poison, for example, it didn't do more than 50-60 damage, and I've read about others doing over 1000 damage per round with it. I know it slows the Magic/Spirit points regeneration, but I always thought negating them completey with Silence would be better.. I guess it's not.

PA = Penetrated Armor (Rapier / Estoc)


Using Silence means you get pummel by Normal attacks if you're not well prepared. You can use it once you know what's coming; it's quite convenient if it works.

Mit gear won't help you against SP attacks. Bewilder + Scroll of Absorb, however, will.

Man i will put it simple for you, get too around 80 holy mitigation and use that + silence and you are all set. Silence will remove his SP attack. Use a bleed main hand and then on your off hand you either use a stun weapon or PA, stun if your regen cant keep up, PA if your regen can keep up. This is all you need he is actually pretty simple to kill.

If you are asking how i kill him, i dont use silence, i just debuff with everything i can and pummel away with soul or dark. Dead within 100 turns or so.

It depends on what available to you and how you plan to fight them. Bleed, Stun, PA, or Maging for that matter ... all of them work. Just try to get Holy/Dark mit gear for the next fight, it should be a lot easier.

I went and turned on/reset STATs and had it running when doing grindfests yesterday.
4363 rounds
20 Artifacts
218 rounds per artifact (when i had 5/10 archaeologist I'd get one ~500 rounds. Don't recall what scavenger was then)

If I wanted to sell what I find each day, it would take less then a week to get back what it cost for level 8 Archaeologist. So Scavenger & Archaeologist will pay off.
