Does LotD affected the quality of arena monster dropped loots? Someone mentioned that it would not affect the arena reward, so I wonder how about the quality of the regular monsters dropped loots inside the arena.
Grindfest or IW, is there a difference in the quality of loots?
Higher the difficulty, higher the chances to have better loots. Is this statement correct?

Yes to all of your statements except arena rewards from clearing the arena, not sure about the arena reward o_O But difficulty level sure affects it, so does the round you're in

You deviant! Putting all your elemental ratings into EXP bonuses because of the patch!
PS: Did you use something other than printscreen to take that screenshot?

Nah, I've had all the EXP bonus tanks filled since forever. I moved most of the rating AP into Spirit Tanks, which I'd had none of previously. And I'm really glad I did, because Spirit Shield (and to a lesser extent, Spark) takes such minuscule chunks out of my spirit bar now.

The rest of the extra AP went into almost totally filling out my elemental spells.

I took that screenshot by using alt+Print Screen twice, and composited the results in Photoshop.

It's a special item given away by Tenboro to anyone who survived the Rapture.

Three things you can do with it. You can keep it, to commemorate your survival (and because you probably won't see another). You can sell it, for a pittance of credits. Or you can hand it off to Snowflake for a piece of equipment. You pick the category, Snowflake picks everything else. It'll be about your level, but probably have decent stats.

I'm holding on to mine.

I play everyday(mostly arena). I did buy one in the bazaar though. Does it matter if you bought one from the bazaar? Don't tell me if I buy one, I will not get my share. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Thx for the reply from Eutopia and streetfelineblue.
For Eutopia, did you get all 13 of them from bazaar, or one of them is free of charge from tenbro?

Are the grindfest credit rewards better for difficulties above normal?

i was wondering about the IA hath perk. when it says mana upkeep does that mean you're paying mana every turn as well as having to pay mana for the cast of whatever you're autocasting?

ie. 20 mana to cast haste every time it wears off + xx mana per turn cause you have innate? and ballistic9, i *think* you get more for higher difficulties. need confirmation from someone more experienced though. i went normal -> hard and i coulda sworn grindfest was dropping credit drops i never saw in normal

I have 2 levels of IA, there's no lump sum mana cost for the spell wearing off/re-activating. I just have -0.7 MP/turn when Shield+SV are active.

ohhh. how does the proficiency gain work then? do you have a chance to gain proficiency every turn? or does it only have a chance to do so if the status icon starts flashing? (i assume the haste icon still flashes when it's about to wear off?)

and does that mean you no longer lose the turn where you had to rebuff?

You're way wrong on this.

First of all, IA will not wear off. It just stop working when you get your mana lower than 10%
You will have a chance of gaining proficiency every turn when you're using IA.
Since the total chance's better than a single cast, IA's also good for prof. grinding (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
And since it is already there at every start of turn, so yes, you don't need to rebuff

Sounds fantastic. Now, where is my hatch? After I look at the number, facepalm. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Did anyone try the shade armor? How is it? The high interference keeps me from being too excited about it.

Hello everybody! I need some advice on Ability points allocation and equipment. I currently play a fighter, full suit of heavy armor, 1H + shield in Arenas and hourly battles, sometimes changing to 2H for Grindfests. I feel quite comfortable with the build (especially after adopting an almost full suit of Power armor), but, having harvested some Tokens of blood, I'm startin to think ahead for the Bosses.

Currently [img37.imageshack.us] THIS IS MY ABILITY TREE. I'm Level 62 with 2 spare Ability points (I took some levels in Ability boost, and a couple of extras from Snowflake). What could be the best abilities to acquire before battling Bosses? (Maybe Poison and all the Scroll and Infusion slots I can afford?) And about the equipment, is the pairing axe/rapier still advisable? I only got like ten point in dual-wield Proficiency, but I'm currently doing some Grindfests with two weapons to raise it. Also, while the minimum level to fight Manbearpig and the other three is 50, what could be a reasonable level to fight them with a good chance of winning?

Any piece of advice is welcome. Thank you in advance!

Just to point out, it's not as big of a difference with only 1 rank of IA, which is what I currently have. I'm sure the effects of effortless prof. grinding will rise exponentially with additional ranks though.

I grabbed the first rank of IA because it was relatively cheap compared to other hath perks and had the delusion that it'd automatically train my support prof like crazy. Apparently, the chance for your support prof to increase each turn is much lower than manually casting a support spell.

- You can now gain proficiency for autocast spells. It will be calculated randomly every turn, with the actual chance depending on the upkeep cost.

Short on detail, but it suggests that the chance of gaining proficiency is less than it would be from casting the spells manually. And the more IA slots you have, the less proficiency you gain for each spell.

so i noticed that my IA upkeep ( 1 slot unlocked ) was fluctuating between levels, does gaining support prof help to reduce upkeep? i know you can unlock more IA slots to get a reduction bonus, but can't afford that right now.
