Low pl mobs can be powerful too. F.e. my 2nd monster has 15/3 stats (near 4 month probably), my 6th has 14/1. This one probably 3 month. The main reason to keep em and feed happy pills is rare, but very expensive items like binding of slaughter. Only 1 such gift can overlap...150-180 happy pills? Its huge amount.

My absolutely scientific testing across thousands of hundredths of sample monsters suggests that monsters where I've prioritised endurance have a higher chance of surviving the battle ("win") without dealing a winning blow. And monsters where I've prioritised damage (str/melee, int/magick) don't have more battles won than winning blows...

I got kind of lucky with my monsters, seeing the oldest one is 4-5 months old and the other is one month old (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

First rule of HV: don't buy equipment from bazaar (for serious battling). You always have much better options for the same amount of or even far less credit.

the equipment you have listed here: leather armor is the kind of armor people usually avoid.

For your level, I suggest you go to the free shop to request free equipment. They are much better than these, guaranteed. But first of all, read the rules carefully. You still have a long road before reaching 200 so there are ample chances on using it.

the arctic longsword is nice if you're still using 2H (but swift is useless, try to reach fatality or overpower; butcher as well, but damage is already high enough, so you have the luxury to look for other potencies)
leggings and boots are not-so-bad for a starter.
the longsword of balance is a waste

not agree. leather is very useful for low-levels because of its jack-of-all, master-of-none nature; its abilities are quite nice too
