Can you please elaborate how you achieved that? It tells me whether I can dream of doing so myself.

Eg, If your 1 cotton requirement was something like Peerless heaven-sent staff + 4 penetrator + 50 forge; Lmax heaven-sent cotton + 50 forge, DW hath perk = I can think about this build after a couple of years of grinding

Even with 2 cottons, it seems pretty difficult to reach 2.0 factor.

Holy: Peerless heaven-sent staff + prof pants + hath perk. Mild-forgerd.
Cold: Leg redwood of elementalist + 2 prof cotton. No perk.
Elec: Willow staff + 5 phase.

FYI, it is not necessary to use a peerless staff to build a 2.0 prof fact set with only 1 cotton. A leg staff will do.

How does it work for you? You must've taken 3-4 turns just to cast Imperil on everyone. Do you Imperil again if it was resisted the first time? Then, your magic score is high even to kill everyone in another 3-4 rounds?

Whether or not I decide to try Imperil on something that initially resisted it depends in part on round composition. If 8 or 9 out of 10 enemies have Imperil, for example, then at that point I might decide that it's safer to proceed killing and deal with the stragglers later. Furthermore, if the situation is safe and there's a monster that resists my Imperil and I don't recognize it to have high wind mitigation, then I might not bother trying Imperil again. When I move on to killing, it usually takes 1-4 casts to clear the round. It's hard to put into words something which I don't really think about while playing. That's not to say that there aren't any asshole rounds where the turn count goes over 10 because the RNG decides to mess with you somehow, and when it comes to them, I don't think any one equipment set composition or playstyle is better off.

it can surely give you a boost to cure spell. i remember colman once said that many players are moving towards one piece with holy edb for this reason

but at this point, since staff is quite important and quite cheaper to forge if compared to phase, to reach the same goal wouldn't it be better to have a willow of destruction + one phase of heimdall (maybe radiant)? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

^ dark was designed as glass cannon, if you need more heal - use holy set instead. and for holy katalox probably better (but i still not seen better than my Oak one.) )

projected maximum of stats on katalox somewhat higher. but with 3%(?) ratio of katalox - non katalox, it still expensive toy for rich players.
