Hey, I'm pretty stable in my bage build at present in all aspects but my Stat distribution:



I would love to actually see the distribution for a 200+ player to shape my strategy.

I'd take a screenshot, but I don't know how to do that on this Macbook (Macs don't have a PrintScreen key). When I was around your level, I started going with this strat for my Mage build:
* Let your STR and DEX fall about 10% behind your level
* Keep your AGI and END about 5% above your level
* Keep INT balanced such that it costs about 3 times as much EXP as your WIS.
* Whatever extra EXP you earn each level goes into further increasing INT and WIS.

Right now I'm lvl 227 and I have 272 INT and 244 WIS, which is making me really powerful. I can consistently clear all my pre-End of Days arenas on Nightmare. I can do them on Hell, but it's more touch and go, and it'll be harder now with Agitation.

hmm, thanks for the input. I'll try trending in that direction, though I'm starting to feel that that extra intelligence and wisdom doesn't make THAT much of a difference.

With my current distribution, I was able to get through End of Days on Hell with 4-8 superior potions pre update.

Just record your average damage now, and then do the same when you have given 5-8 points in int and you will see a difference.

Wondering if there is any major problem with my mage setup, I'm heading towards Elec/Fire now (currently Fire/Cold).

How much harder are the harder difficulty levels?

I mean is IWBTH OMGWTF 25 times harder, meaning that I will get oneshotted in the first round of combat and need 25+ casts of my AOE spell to kill anything?

It all depends on your ability settings,equipment, extra attribute points etc etc

HP and damage gets buffed rather dramatically.
Normal Monster: 500 HP
Hard Monster: 750 HP
Hell: 2-3k HP
Battletoads Monster: 4-6k
IWBTH Monster: 11k+ HP (and Minibosses 25k+)

Damage is not buffed as dramatically. I'd say BT monsters hit about twice as hard as they do on Hard, IWBTH monsters twice as hard again. They probably won't oneshot you until you agitate them. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Nothing else changes. They're still dumb as rocks, miss pretty often and their defenses don't change. You'll need different tactics to not get raped.

You should try it, tell us how well it goes.

Increases HentaiVerse Bazaar Sale Value by 8%.

My hath income isn't all that flattering but I plan on adopting one or two slots (the euro is awesome like that).

like for my pots i have to buy them one at a time but on the bottom of page show like 1x15 is 15

I was just about to ask that. Since I started playing mage at 70, my staff proficiency has gone up...3.59 points from where it was before. Staff proficiency is the only thing I miss about Montages.

Maybe Assimilator makes raising staff proficiency less painful now, but it's still prohibitively expensive for me.

This is just a guess based on my own experience in high level arenas, but he probably does quite a lot of staff smacking in Schoolgirl Marathons (End of Days and up). You need to get a lot of ET procs to maintain your mana for hundreds of rounds of battles against Legendaries.

The artifact drop rate has not been changed.
Most probably it's because you're recording not enough rounds.

I have scavenger 26 + archaeologist 5, and i have received 7 artifacts in 4784 rounds.
For statistics to be correct, you need to have a larger amount rounds completed.
So, it should be pure bad luck, not problem on playing style.
