Well I was surprised, in 2013 I did it a bit and it was 130 turns or so for some exceptional exquisite piece of fine shit, but now it's 64 for magnificent stuff.
But my legendary power armor of procrastination kicked in and I left.Entered again in Battle-toads but left at round 50 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
I was annoyed to see I had to cure a lot at such garbage difficulty even with 1h+shield, guess I need more than 24.5 in 1h prof and the hath perks people told me to buy, but right now they are all waiting for me to sell even more cheap kGP's so I won't give in today (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

There is a lot of legendary power on sale but all warding or protections, but cost around 1.25M or 2M for a lot of them.Is it worth it or not?Less fire power but more physical mitigations.

You can get leg power of protection/warding for 50~100k in auctions.

I just got my leg power of balance with 500k. Let see when will my connection to HV become normal and start IW it.

Everyone who plays melee wants Power armor, so the prices in shops are usually inflated. If you want to get Power at a reasonable price, I fear you have no choice but to buy in auctions.

An prof cotton/gossamer piece with Lmax-minus prof (Lmax-0.33 or Mmax) often sells at less than 1m in auctions.
Holy/Dark are more popular so the price can be higher; plus, for some ppl, when choosing prof equips, they think cap/gloves/shoes > robe/pants, because they lose less firepower wearing cotton cap/gloves/shoes than cotton robe/pants, hence the price can go even higher if the bidders are aware of that.
If I were you I'd rather buy this cotton because it's cheaper (1.5m) and its prof is higher (Lmax-0.33).

Well, they'd lose less firepower, but also gain less proficiency. So it's a balance, I guess. I preferred gloves because that's currently my weakest fenrir item, but I guess any position would do too.

Nah. That gossamer has no DEX. To me, DEX is the only reason to choose gossamer over cotton.

keep it and aim for 5F. a couple of butcher by the end would surely be better, otherwise no big problem - high fatality is already a nice goal

Its already 5f and 2ss. Aiming at butcher, but of course any ll be ok and i gonna finish today. Not rly high damage increase for...near 1k rounds or even more, but 1h is mostly solo target attack. This way additional elemental strike is quite pretty.

M attack accuracy, magic accuracy
L-0.2 PMI, L-0.1 MMI
S Evade
S-0.7 Resist
L+0.02 proficiency (how can this be?)
S-2.0 Elemental Mitigation
M AGI, Int
S+0.4 Wis.

This should also be a nice piece, but went at less than half price, ya?

Keep a prof cotton for the counter-resist and lower spell cost. Monsters with high PL generally have high resist and elemental mitigations.

Maybe if it was an Elementalist one since the demand is higher than the offer (4 elements, but only 1 specific prof cotton). I would say no for cotton of the Demon-Fiend.

That brings me to another thought. High PL monsters will need various debuffs stacked onto them right? Eg, Imperil + Magnet, maybe Silence. Since I need to debuff them anyway, should I be getting a deprecating proficiency cloth instead? I think Magnet will render them unable to resist.

Better grab a Willow Staff if you want deprecating prof.

Magnet has a long cooldown, it's probably only useful for bosses.
