So I can finally go RE on PFUDOR without any problem, thank you VV hath perk. Now I am about to move on to Item World, but can anyone tell me of the minimal level needed to do IW?

Personally I would wait until you can do PFUDOR IW (that level of heavily forged gear), before you do. The benefit is pretty meh, especially for armor (unless you have the time and money for Jugg 5*5). If your armor isn't worth ~1 million spending amnesia shards is certainly not worth it.

Evade is the most important stat for light armor. But if you aren't forging, don't worry too much, whatever doesn't break the bank, and fits nicely into your setup.

I had 1 hp after turn 5, and couldn't use Cure at the time. So I decided to just kill the mobs and let Spark activate a second time (after double-checking that I had 459 spirit (about 130% of base) and plenty of mana (so Innate Arcana should've recast Spark).

Why didn't it?

and disintegrate isn't an optimal choice to try the luck with ripened soul, try raise your prof until ragnarok becomes available. i have it, it doubles the chance of disintegrate at my level and still it gets resisted too much for my tastes...

forget it until lv 265 or so, when both better block and decent upgrade for spirit shield become available (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
and even so, do it max on IWTBH, much less stress compared to PF and same PXP gained. if you're going with mage setup, i don't really know

A. +1 evade than B
B. +8 point STR and 0.7 MMI than A

i'd say A. the point in shades is to escape hits on top of all, so PMI is less useful than evade. 8 STR aren't that big thing either

But, this time I was sure that I had Regen (as well as Regeneration and Replenishment) active. I had plenty of magic and sufficient spirit, and still was left with 1 hp after turn 3. What's up with that?

these are the benefits of STR, directly from wiki:

pretty negligible, especially if compared with DEX (which also adds parry and accuracy). note that "adding something to the physical damage formula" (which is logarithmic) means that sooner or later you will add one point (or less) rather than two.
also, all the stats which refer to style effects should be already saturated at your level, so yes, i'd still pick the upper evade one, especially if it has high AGI. if not really useful, it will still have higher value when you'll sell it

uh, i play as melee so i may not give you right hints, but is there a particular reason because you go with mage (and dark, on top of it) at that level? mage becomes useful at lv310+, while lv 200+ is the best ground for 1H.

Regen and other "over-time" effects like spell durations and potions tick every 100 time units. This does not typically work out to a tick every actual turn you take because you have speed modifiers like Haste, general cast speed, and individual spell cast speeds that either make you faster or slower than the "over-time" effects, occasionally resulting in one or two turns in a row where they don't fire.

When Spark of Life triggers and you're stuck at 1 HP, you actually have to pause and heal. Your safest bet is to cast Full-Cure when it becomes available because it's unlikely that you'll get one-shot from full health on the next turn; Cure alone might not restore enough HP unless you're a holy mage. Until then you have to make do with Cure and Health Potions.

EDIT: It's helpful to get a script like HV Minor Additions or HV Stat, which interrupt the game with dialogue boxes whenever Spark of Life triggers.

You could have used "defend", it would have recovered 10% of your base health (assuming you had more than 10% Overcharge), enough for SoL to activate again.

I wasn't aware of that.

You should still get better drops and exp in PFUDOR though, so, your call. If you are using 1H, you might as well do the runs in PFUDOR.

danixxx is lvl 500, so that's not exactly the same as a lvl 200...

Also, lvl 310 is very important for elemental mages, less so for Holy/Dark mages. Still useful though, since Imperil also reduces MMI.

personally, comparing efforts and results i consider it better to go IW IW (especially if you're interested only in PXP), but really your call

True in the sense that PFUDOR gives better drops and exp (albeit ever so slightly perhaps) but it at least allows one to do IW sooner if they can manage IWBTH difficulty.
