3 should be more than enough. Maybe 2, but faster than 2 without energy pots probably impossible.

Hello, I need some help on choosing equipments for my level.
Some info about me: I've been playing HV for about week now, but I haven't done anything to my equipment at the moment (I tested some level up on AVERAGE equipment, may be level 1 and stopped at level 2. I was lazy to level up my equipments i admit) I was more on Arenas to get credits and Grindfest these days to level up. Item world only when i felt like it. But it seems it is important now at this level (I'm using superior equips at the moment all level 1 since it had better stats than average and i find it hard to level up, yes i tried it)
By the way my style is 1H at the moment (shortsword + a shield off hand). (Not a rapier but is it better than the shortsword i'm using and i see you guys talking more on the rapier benefits)
Anyway what I want to ask is what should I buy at my level and level up ?? [Average equipments seems possible to level up - so should I buy Average equips and level them up (may have also some in stock)??

First off, yes Average is easier to level up than Superiors with less PxP and rounds. Hopefully you are using Heavy Power Armor with that 1H. So if you think the PABs on your average equipment are good, then you can go IW them if you have the free time, you may be lucky enough to get the HP bonus.

QUOTE(Dead-ed @ Dec 1 2014, 22:43) i always have leftover mana pots so i slot'em with health pots to reduce time in cure. Shade+leather is analog with power+plate, nothing is wrong imo.
I don't see how Shade+Leather is better than full shade. Won't that take away the extra damage? This post has been edited by Twilight Sparkle1998: Dec 2 2014, 00:45

In general, don't buy from the Equipment Shop. It only has equipment sold by other players, ie it's the garbage collector. Prefer buying from other players instead: check out the WTS section. Also, visit the Free Shop. Don't bother IW average equipment and below. Don't bother with IW too much at your level, focus on leveling up and getting credits by clearing arenas. If you have a weapon you like, you may level it up a bit. I would recommend 2H at your level, but keep using 1H, it will become really great once you get 100+ 1H prof and power armor.

at low levels survivability may be more important, so going with some plate (for heavies) or full leather (to benefit from evade) *may* be better. surely for his wallet (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE(TygerTyger @ Dec 2 2014, 00:11) Play everyday for 8+ hours.

the lack of piercing mit for shade is deadly i think. I got much lesser cure after switching to leather, i lose 600ish damage but skyward sword become more easier, that's why i said that it's somewhat faster. This post has been edited by Dead-ed: Dec 2 2014, 01:36

So didn't really use energy drinks. And I can't remember but pretty sure I half afk'd watching videos as well. This post has been edited by TygerTyger: Dec 2 2014, 03:03

For some weird reason, I am worse with full leather than full shade. Guess I will put 2 Leather into my shade set to see if it works.

choose them with the lowest BUR and the best stat you can, especially AGI and evade

the repair cost can compensate the shards, considering shade durability.

Light Armor has much lower Mitigation stats than Heavy Armor, and Shade Armor does not have Piercing mitigation. So 1 or 2 leather pieces are recommended for a stable defense. Warding Leather is useless, since it can be compensated with Negation/Arcanist Shade. So either Protection or Deflection Leather is the best choice. And obviously, Reinforced is the most desirable Prefix in those Leather. QUOTE(TygerTyger @ Dec 2 2014, 04:41) Play everyday for 8+ hours.

Full leather or full shade . No reason to mix . If the weapon is heavy , you may have survivability with shade . This is the reason that leather can still be useful .

In PFUDOR, only Evade isn't going to save you every time. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) This post has been edited by tetron: Dec 2 2014, 11:16

QUOTE(tetron @ Dec 2 2014, 17:16) In PFUDOR, only Evade isn't going to save you every time. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Shade have high evade, some PMI/MMI and high resist. At my level, it is alright. At least its average defensive performance is more or less same as leather. I have sufficient HP buffer to prevent accident or non-resisted spell. However, I do not have a good ethereal 2H weapon so I do not want to collect a good shade set yet. This post has been edited by Colman: Dec 2 2014, 11:51
