I just noticed i don't have a good Shield.

[edit]: also, i gained wind strike on my rapier. to have the maximum advantage from it i should use cold spike shield, right? i ask because it seems to me that the damage inflicted by wind strike with and without the freezing limbs effect is quite random (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

technically, yes. Randomness may be due to freezing limbs' low duration though. Like all spikes, it doesn't last very long...
PA has an influence too...

With shade, I like buckler of barrier better. I have 50%ish block with it and little B/I.

a guideline? jc have the right one:

you can win with 10 tickets and lose even with 50k or so (there was a big rage-quite a while ago). but as tygertyger already said, there are ~10 high level-people who has ~90% of prices. every now and then you can even see a salvaged peerless.
don't rely too much on it imo, if you want to bid 2k-worth of GP is one thing, but to play hoping to actually win...

I have had a tough luck IRL with regard to lottery based and prize bond type systems . They are always internally rigged between the highest players or administration [NO DISRESPRECT INTENDED/IMPLIED to admins this is my opinion based on observation] so yeah i neither have x-men scarlet witch jinx charm or for that matter her exile dimension night crawler fathered daughter but it will be a big gambke if i come even close to 4th place. Furthermore as from some previous threads you are a winner of this lottery so i wanted to ask how much [unofficialy] is the input of tickets you do if you want to partake in the balloting.

Nope, Shade-1H does NOT force you to play with Buckler. Force Shield and Buckler both have the same amount of Burden, it's the Interference that differs (a lot). Type of Shield is purely the matter of one's taste. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Scavenger seem like the best one to get. And since you only looking for Peerless as you stated before, Archaeologist is useless (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) .

I probably wouldn't go past 24 lotd, I got more legendaries before maxing it.

The maximum space is 1000, so I don't think it's possible to take attached equip, but you can still store in MM unlimited.

Hmm, You want to use Moogle mail trick to store equips right. Here is how I do it:
Let say I have 1000, I send 200 equips to someone but set COD to 1mil Hath each so they can't take it. I now have 800 (200 free space) and 200 in MM.
After 6 month, I have 1000 again, I then send 400 and recall all 200 back (maybe you can create script for this). I now have 800 and 400 in MM.
If this keep continue, then you really really need a recall script, not to mention that it's impossible to recall more than 1000, so the limit you can store equips in MM better be less than 1000 items.

Send 900 to MM right off the bat for space, then remember to cycle every year or when you got 900 again, whichever come first. If you need more than 900 space then you're doomed, even if MM is unlimited.

DW doesn't reduce hit chance, but the hit chance of the offhand weapon doesn't count as hit chance and instead boosts the chance of procing offhand strike.
