if you cant go with a little of everything, lightning/fire is used a lot i like wind/lightnnig. try to get tier 1 of all them all and then tier 2 of the ones you want to use the most.

Still haven't noticed a change yet. Still spamming nothing but WoT for IW and FoL for Arenas. Same one shot rate, etc.

I think people are just not upgrading resist atm due to Power Level shenanigans.

I don't upgrade monsters cuz there's nothing to gain from that

Does that mean they can drain all hitted monsters or only one, main target?
Also, if more than one, does they roll drain chance for each monster separately or its all or nothing?

So yea, since it kinda got lost:

Must be doing something wrong... for every arena fight, I dish out 2 average healing potions, 2 average mana potions, and most of the time, they totally waste me (lvl 42, they deal ~ 60 damage per hit on normal when I'm on heavy armor). I've also tried going silk of the fleet, but that only gives me ~ 20% evade, which isn't even nearly enough to keep me alive. Just now, first round of lvl 20 arena, I'm on 301/708 HP after 5 rounds... And on Grindfest, after ~15 rounds, I run out of mana and HP if I don't use potions X_X [s7.directupload.net] Equip [s7.directupload.net] Stats What exactly should I change about my character? Should I try maging? Because grindfest currently nets me close to no money as I die way too fast.

I'm lvl 50 now, and nothing really changed about that. Even though I got myself a full heavy armor and got that last evasion equip, I'm on ~ 25% evasion with robe, while on heavy armor, I get 24,7 p.absorb and 11% mitigation. Is that good for my level? Or should I aim for better equipment?

PROTIP 1: Learn to use Weaken and supportive spells.
PROTIP 2: Switch to mage.

Rule of thumb: Every gears in existence sucks. You need to always look for a better one. And once you got a better gear, it will sucks too, and so you'll have to find something even better, which sucks as well...

Curious, any of you higher level folk ever wear a full set of heavy armor to battle (or would you with the new rare armor types)?

Nah. If I still was melee I would use one piece of Power or Shield armor.

Since I got extra sets, sometimes I put on my Plate suit for old time's sake. I've got a full Shield suit now, but its still being upgraded, and I'm building a suit of Power Armor too. Just wish I had one more equip set for it.

No, and silk is cloth for melee.

I was pure melee for more then 200 levels it works but is slower.

I tryed bits of it and

50 5 Dalek dropped [Dalek Voicebox]

Used only 2 superior healing potions

I hold him perma weakened and poisoned
Used only regen and ocasionall superior healing to negate his pathetic atacks
Got lucky in that I evaded both his Spirit and Mana attacks [got hit with death ray only once]
Ending fight with half mana and full health [paranoia at 1st place in boss fights (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)]
As for damage I got like 1/10th of his life with spirit attack [995 damage only]
4/10 with poison [with just one point in it holds 28 rounds]
5/10 Elemental rotations [started with lightning when he got burned than I continued until I didnt get another part of rotation]
0/10 phys attacks [just to activate ether theft in hope for chanel]

48 5 Mithra dropped [Mithra's Flower]

Used only 2 superior health potions
Same progress as 1st one except no elemental weakness so I just spamed holy all the way
Got hit only with undress
Hit considerable harder than Dalek
Ended with almost full life

51 5 White Bunneh droped [Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch]

1st I used superior heal draught but found out it heals for to low ammount to completely negate normal attacks [even with regen on]
So 1 draught 1 superior heal potion
Same as Mithra got hit with Awww in 1st round do not know if Weaken works against it but seems like Bunneh needs longer to charge spirit attack couse he didnt use it [Strange is that it ticked Poison for higher amount than on Mithra probably only 25% rezist against dark]
Hit a bit harder than Dalek not as much crits as Mithra though
Didnt even use spirit atack cause I was constantly slowing him with cold debuf

Damn unknown person which was 5s faster and got that 165 lvl phase cap in bazaar (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Except my cap all are old pieces with rezist stat I dug out (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Stats are same
Abilities I just invested 4 points [2 from snowflake] to weaken

I supose I will need bewilder too
But probably only against Man bear Pig until higher arenas ?

Dark resistance has nothing to do with it. Poison damage isn't any specific elemental type.

4 3 You hit Giant Panda for 131 slashing damage.
4 2 You hit Zombie Fred for 119 slashing damage.
4 1 You drain 1.3 MP from Zombie Fred
So, seperately. And afaik, you can just drain from the monster you originally target. I've been running around with an Illithid Scythe (23% proc) through item world, on floor 14 now, and it triggered around 20-30 times, but never on some other target)

Thats what I thought (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) [I have that grease monkey script so I do not waste turns using scan on old monster or time to remember what they are weak to]

About that poison I have to test it but I think poison is dark element atack and is prone to have different damage on different mobs [even when its in debuff spells and do not raise dark prof]
Or its based around enemy health % ?

Manbear pig seems much stronger than other three 1x token bosses
