The reason why you told me Shades work better than Cotton/Phase is because the interference of Shade is relatively higher than any Cloth setup, making your spell cost higher.
If you were using Arcanist sets you would probably get the same result as you did with Cloth.

With 130 Interference, I can secure Max Supportive spell proficiency every time I level up even without spamming just by using buffs like Protection/Regen casually. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

So it boils down to scaling the interference as necessary for 100% prof chance and keep the interference high for near-the-max prof grinding, I take it... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

These are variables in the script itself, just edit a few variables in the script itself and you're good to go.
They're set for holy spells by default, so change the var Spell_list line to

CODE

var Spell_list = ['Ragnarok', 'Disintegrate', 'Corruption'];

and you're set for spamming dark spells instead.

Also, offensive proficiency can include weapon proficiency (1H, 2H, DW and staff) and offensive spells (elemental, divine and forbidden)... so... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

power of slaughters may be expensive, i'll add also a couple of warding ones if i were you...
rapier of balances aren't viable since overwhelming strikes adds +50% to your acc, so it isn't a good idea to sacrifice ADB for some accuracy that you'll eventually catch, once you have 140% or so you're way good to go. your rapier has MMax ADB and parry, you may want to keep it as offhand for DW...

even though we are a few people to have a certain continuity of service, it may still happen...
33% base block is more than EMax, it will cost quite a few credits. if you mean 33% scaled at your level (and nobody would complain about interest conflicts from me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ), check this
i suppose it depends also on your level, but to have a full comparison you should compare a no-STR, max-ADB slaughter with a max-STR, max-ADB non-slaughter (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Owyn originally made an alternative to the original MouseMelee, since he switched to maging he adpated the script to spam spells instead of just hitting (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It has no GUI, so the spells it's supposed to spam have to be edited manually inside the script in line 6 (v1.5).
I just made a list one can copy paste there for prof grinding.

@Owyn: can't check yet, would have to wrap everything again for chrome native and test it. Just too lazy to update right now ^^ (1.3 still works fine as of right now =D)

@kos: I used spellspam until recently for prof grinding. But it was missing the "oh crap" functionality, like stopping on low HP/Mana/Rebuff, owyns script provides. On the other hand spellspam has a gui (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

In the current ecosystem you can get a good legendary/magnificient power warding for about the same price of a good/mediocre exquisite power slaughter piece. The better PAB make up a little for the missing ADB.

As I remember SpellSpam uses rotation for spell spamming, so it means it would use T3 and T2 less frequently (not right on cooldowns) so it would grind less proff., no?

with a bit of luck you can afford a maybe-not-the-best-around-but-still-valid leg warding at a price similar to an exq slaughter (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

[edit]: iirc, my armor costed 350k or so, while this helmet is already at 500k at D's auction...

protection may be also viable, it depends where you're most vulnerable - PMI or MMI

generally, non-slaughter power gear (warding/protection/balance) is a lot cheaper than slaughter gear. sometimes with the same grade (ie both Exquisite). one can be sold for 10-20k & slaughter gear with 2PAB can sold for 50+k.

Since I already have plate, I should start looking for decent slaughter gear with 2 PABs at discounted prices if I can find them. That or settle for worse ones for now until I hit lvl 200 or so.

My god. Alright, going to just go with Wardens with decent PABs, then grind till I can grab a decent Leg Ethereal Rapier of Slaughter (this alone is going to take ages ...), THEN get good power slaughter equips.
Seems like I'm more vulnerable to MMIs at the moment, though it seems like all the warriors are more vulnerable because most of the equips I've seen provide lower MMI than PMI bonuses.

Just a question for everybody: Has anybody maxed Luck of the Draw / gone close to maxing it? Seems pretty worthwhile as a long term investment IMO if you get up to level 15~20 with it.

I think stamina is probably the most precious resource in HV. At 30k per Energy Drink/ 10 Stamina, so 1 Stamina would be worth about 3k.
If you do all 2nd Page Arenas, that's 980 rounds, you use 30.1 Stamina (19 sta rested => 475 rounds, 10.1 sta normal => 505 rounds), at least in theory, in praxis it's more since you still regen during/after fights.
My goal is to get as much exp during the initial 19 stamina for the bonus. To achieve the maximum usage of these it'd be best to stop after consuming 24 stamina to make maximum use of the base regen. But when doing the whole 2nd page, you're using more than that, so it'd be best to get down to 34 stamina used so you can chug 1 Energy drink (valued at 30k, remember) and still be maxed 24h after.

So when i go prof grinding (always do this below 80 stamina btw) every 50 rounds is 1 stamina, every 500 rounds is 10 stamina => 30k. So even prof grinding has a monetary value attached (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
So when i can cut down from 1000 rounds to 500 rounds, i just saved 30k (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

nah, first grab all power, then start looking for an ethereal rapier. but 7-8 more burden isn't a problem, so i'd go with a fully IW hallowed rapier of slaughter, this way you would also have bonus cure...

imo, after Pack Rat, Lotd seems to be the best Training & it will pay for itself IF you can reliably do TT/SG arenas @PF. iirc, ~18 Lotd, you'll probably get ~2Mags/week doing daily TT. though, it could be all Mag Cotton, but Mag Cotton are all potential 15k+ High Grade Cloth. also, you'll get a lot more superior (& a little exquisite) shade/phase/power/etc stuff, which can easily sell for 1000+c in Bazaar.
