I've been working on those profs as well, with absorb, cure 1&2, poison and blind. I like blind but I wonder how effective it is against Legendarys

Evade seems fine. Blind... eh, I tried it but I like silence better. Definitely suggest grabbing regen, it is much more efficient that cure.

How easy do you find bosses to be? Konoha is about 2x a boss, and the Haruhi crew are about 2x that. What items do you use to clear longest journey if any.

I do fairly well against the bosses but I need to add more cold & electric spells, I had regen for a while, maybe I'll pick it up again in the next week or so. I do plan on getting silence soon as well, do blind & silence cancel each other? I can't remember which spells cancel each other.

cmdct: I'ed love to go against them in the RoB first, but that takes tokens & I haven't gotten but one token in a week (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Well, look at it this way. Cure gives me 600-700 hp for 22 mp, and regen gives me 2000 hp for 28 mp. cure gives 30hp per mp while regen gives 71hp per mp, its more than twice as efficient.

Never thought of it that way, thanks, I'll pick it back up with my next Ap. OH! is it an arcane spell? cause I have 1 empty arcane slot, I have shield in 1 but 2 has nothing

Nah, tenb hasn't let us use regen as arcana yet. Only supportive spells can be used as arcana currently.

I'd suggest switching to Haste in your Arcana slot. I've tried it both ways, and Haste is a lot better in the arena. Doing both is even better, but quite a bit more mana intensive. If you've got more mana restoratives than you know what to do with, go for both, since you'll get more supportive prof that way.

As for Deprecating prof, here's how I quickly level it when it falls behind:

With your stats and staff prof, you've got about 20% chance for Coalesced Mana to proc, which means you'll be able to keep it up on the monster indefinitely. Keep chugging mana restoratives until you run out, then finish the arena and do it again in the next one.

Today, I did this in just 3 arenas (chugging lessers and averages), and my Dep prof went from 88 to 100. Since your dep prof is so much lower, you should be able to bring it up quite a lot more than that, since you've got an increased chance for prof gains when the prof is so low. This is important because improving the mana efficiency of Silence, Slow, and Poison is essential for fighting Legendaries.

I'll have to wait until tomorrow to post my ability page, I just started montage, I picked regen back up an hour of so ago. From what you're telling me I need to get silence, slow & weaken. I'll get weaken next & pump up my dep prof like you said.

Silence will be the most important for fighting legendaries, or weaken + bewilder + spark of life if you prefer although I find silence / silence + slow in conjuncture with regen to be much more efficient at 30+ evade, which you look like you have. I rarely use weaken anymore actually, but I would still suggest having it available.

Weaken will be the best for quickly raising your depr. proficiency though, so if you aren't planning on taking on a lengendary all that soon yeah grab weaken. Finally, if you are not using a PA proc weapon and intend to use only a staff for all combat, Poison is not going to be worthwhile so you can skip it.

i actually thiknig to turn mage build

all my gaming life i play mage chars i never be a like for strenght type chars

so my lvl too low for this or i can swap, i have +40k exp unassigned coz for thinking to turn mage

now monsters really hit me so well is it me or game difficulty inceased after lvl 44-45? or i need better qeuipment

Seems like a solid start, although you will want to replace the leather with cloth eventually. Nothing glaringly wrong, you should have the right idea for any basic encounters. Boss battles should be a ways away. Let us know if you end up having trouble with anything in particular.

I disagree. Yeah, it deals crappy damage without PA, but against bosses, everything deals crap damage (except the boss's weakness). I've found Poison to be entirely worthwhile against bosses, especially before you get Silence, because it slows MP and SP regen.

mm, I was thinkin more for after you get silence, at which point any pure mage worth his weight in turds should be able to hit most any elemental weakness other than dark, depending on their build. Feel free to use it before then though, if you feel like it.

I guess that's what I get for only specing into elec and holy. It's great for grinding, but less so for high arenas.

None. Burden can only be reduced by equipment proficiencies and the Destined Title.

To add to cmal's post, it's true that nothing affects burden directly, but AGI increases your action speed, which helps negate your burden.
