QUOTE(Sardion @ Jan 29 2011, 21:34) How works Innate Arcana unkeep? Putting aside proficiencies: Haste Base cost: 30. Base duration: 10x2 when haste maxed so its 1,5 MP per round Does innate arcana take then 1,5 per round (two in first round and one MP in second) or round this up to 2 MP for each round? I would like to now what i may got before exchanging. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Gentlemans?

Thanks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I will give it a try, it's pointless to cast haste on arena without IA.

So whats everyone take on this whole "Monster Lab" thing. Do you all think we might get something like a "Party" in which our monsters can heal and fight with us? Speculate I would like to hear.
Edit: Whats up with these new monsters I know I read the Notes but I just fought my own monster I just created, Side note It's pissing me off when I see a new monster, because I don't know if they hit hard or what. Cool to see new names but not cool to know if there a threat

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) nothing to do with base mp cost. assuming haste cost you 40 mp right now and it will last you 20 rounds, IA will take 2 mp per round. so if haste cost you 50 mp right now and it last you 50 rounds, IA will take 1 mp per round as upkeep.

I know how work spell cost calculation from base (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) What i wanted know is: when mana unkep isnt't integer number it's rounded up or it takes on each trun changing MP value? - in my example 30MP cost spell, 20 round lasting would be 2MP when rounded or 2 / 1 MP alternately.

from my experience...
on the first turn, graphically it will show that 2 mp has been deducted but actually only 1.5 mp has been deducted from your mp pool.
on the second turn, graphically it will show that 1 mp has been deducted but actually 1.5 mp has been deducted from your mp pool.

I'm not reading through this thread to see if this question has been asked by me or anyone else: Is there an ideal stat weight to shoot for? Last I remember it was that primary should be equal to your level, I can't remember where secondary should lie, and tertiary should be your level minus five.
Has this changed? Does the aforementioned formula change depending on your quote/endquote class? Am I completely wrong on this? I ask because, as a tanky-butt Nitenfag, I feel my primary stats are STR and END, secondary are DEX and AGI and tertiary are INT and WIS, as such I currently have all of these in a level differential of 0:-2:-5.
I find myself wondering if I should even bother wasting my EXP on INT and WIS as spells are total MP based and not a static MP cost, if I remember correctly, unless there's an initial static cost and it increases past that as your maximum MP rises.

When i was melee i prefered getting str/dex/agi first, then end and finally int and wisdom. You will be relying on your flee more than your shield rating, when monsters starts hitting too hard. Spell costs increases when you level up so it's always usefull to have more mp. Also int and wisdom increases your base mp, so you will get more mp back from potions/gems and second winds Those stats increases (very slowly) your magic hit, so that debuff spells will miss/resisted less This post has been edited by hyl: Jan 31 2011, 18:22

I'm not having a problem with misses, more fails due to the interference. Anyway, here's what I have going right now: (IMG:[ i7.photobucket.com] http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y280/houseofgas/stats.png) My equipment I don't really have time to worry about, nor do I really care at this point, so I won't post it, I'm more concerned about this, currently. Well, at least as concerned as a person can get over a clicky game.

No problems with stats, but if you have interference problems that means that you using either using weapons with too high interference or heavy armour too much. Very likely you also have a high ammounts of burden, which will slow you down
