since you're heavy you can keep at that point for now, but you should use those unassigned EXP, i'd put a couple END and a DEX more. also, you should get rid of those crude/average equip (except for the power one), you can go in my shop (absolutely no spamming intended (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ) or in FreeSHop if you find something useful

Btw, I've been doing IWBTH on a Crude IW and still can't get any coins to show up.

not getting hit is better than getting hit with some damage mitigated.

It depended on how hard the hits.
For light hits (<2% HP per hit), no one care. Reg can take care of them.
For med hits (~10% per hit) you want to avoid/parry/block for receiving lower damage in average; thus use heals less often.
For heavy hits (>20% HP per hit), you may want mitigation for a more stable result and less SP consumption rate. You do not want one-round shoted too often I think.

I giving up expensive rapier atm. But eventually if i going to use 1h or DW for level 300+, i think i'll need rapier for it PA.

It depended on how hard the hits.
For light hits (<2% HP per hit), no one care. Reg can take care of them.

it depends from one DW user to another: someone may prefer balance to have high offhand accuracy, others nimble for the boost in parry... you should first of all try to figure out what you want imo. if you're too lazy to do that, the default scheme is: main hand axe/club of slaughter and offhand: rapier of balance (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I remember reading some veterans' posts arguing that once your armors reach certain quality through IW and forging using DW / Mace doesn't matter anymore as your Evade chances are high like fuck. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Need to do Grindfest on Nightmare or tougher difficulty... same with IW. Gonna be tough for your level. If you do the Arenas on Nightmare or tougher and get any duplicate coins, send me a message and I'll arrange a trade for you for the tougher-to-get ones.

Frankly speaking, at your level if you are not overexerting yourself on Nintendo or above difficulty, you won't have problem going with any set-up. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

DW+Power isn't as squishy as 2H + Power, at least you still have certain amount of parry with you if you're going Rapier. But however, it's always better to use Light armor (preferably Shade) as a DW player.

I myself went all the way from Lv. 10 to Lv. 140 using 2H + Power (No parry/evasion/block bonus) until I realised how squishy I was and I had to re-roll completely to 2H+Shade sets. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Tips: At my level if you want to do high difficulty runs, seriously, go 1H+Power so you won't go rage like me. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

IW, yes. The elemental strike is free anyway. The potency are not that good but they are also free.
Forge, accuracy only (for off hand strike chance). Some people also forge parry, but I think if someone need a few more % of parry to survive, he/she should go for 1H until higher level. Or just get a nimble rapier.
Buy or not, depended on price.

600k is my upper limit. You can pay more if you are in hurry.

This is not too far away from the weapon you quoted. But it can only go up to 200k. If you do not forge weapon, these two are not very different as off hand weapon.

You can see its base stat when your mouse pointer is over the its stat. Then compare with the range here.
