There's a small chance they drop outside the last round of an arena, though the arena clear bonus should give you the best chance to get those tokens.

while we're talking about tokens,...so...does End of Days has a higher Arena token clearing bonus than say First blood?

How often you check your monsters for gifts doesn't really matter anymore. Just make sure you check often enough that the monster isn't sitting at its maximum gift-capacity for too long...

Well, you could always use the secret method of checking every 5 minutes...

Yeah, that's how I understand it:

- Monster gifts no longer have a random element. They will always give a gift as soon as they have passed a threshold, and checking them no longer affects the timer.

It's kind of ambiguous, but it implies to me that how often you check doesn't really affect anything anymore. The only catch is that if you don't check for 2 or 3 days, and your monster happens to get 6 gifts (assuming you have Double Gift) on the first day, then the remaining days will be wasted since it can't hold more gifts.

it's more about forging and having so much attack defense doesn't matter. With Niten+shade, 29% AS / 66% pmi / 48% evade / 56% parry, and like 1000-1400 less damage than my power set, i get wrecked. My estoc is lightly forged, so bout 150 dmg less, 10% AS less, and 20% parry less. I don't even try with it. I've only got mag shade though.
