I have a question for those who have tested the ability confuse.
How does it behave ? I mean, how often does the target of this spell attack it's friends ?

When i'm on a final round of an arena, if i confuse all 3 legendaries, does it mean that i will take no damage at all from them, and they will wipe the field for me ?

No. Their attacks would negate the effect on each other. Also, they can still attack you.

Base behavior of Confuse as follows:
-- Equal chance to hit any valid target on the battlefield (including the player and itself).
-- Each additional ability point put into Confuse will both increase duration by 25% and decrease the chance of the monster hitting itself by 25%

- 90% chance to break the spell when the target takes damage. Each additional ability point strengthens the spell and reduces this chance by 10%, to a maximum of 50%.

Wait, does this mean that more points in the Confuse ability actually decrease the chance of the monster damaging itself? So, it would score, in percentage, more hits on other monsters and you? Or did you mean more points in the ability decrease the chance of the monster hitting you?

Decreases the chance of hitting itself, which decreases the chance of the spell breaking (high chance to break when the target is hit)

Obviously, you shouldn't use it 1v1.

Unless you think you'll be needing the physical absorb/mitigation, I'd go with the silk robe.

I just finished doing an ability reset and then dumped 42 of my 51 points into the five Hp tanks that I have unlocked aswell as the five MP tanks that I have, I also maxed out Weaken and Poison and I got Cure and Shield. I was wondering what everyone thinks I should do now, should I go back to being Sword and Board or try a mage type class.

My Stats are:

Str - 42
Dex - 39
Agi - 36
End - 45
Int - 30
Wis - 31

What do you Experts think that I should do.

This is my equipment:

1) That link you posted would only take someone to their own equipment page, not yours.

2) Going the magic route is pretty AP intensive, so be aware of that. On the other hand, note that wearing too much armor is going to limit your magic capabilities, which in turn wastes the AP you have in magic. You may even want to try for a balance that allows you to sword and board while still casting a little attack magic when needed. That works for me, anyway. But it can be hard to pull off if you don't have high evade armor, Battlecaster gear, or a reliable shield.

Thanks so that means I should try to be an Arcane Knight or something similar.

Also I don`t know how to post links to certain things like other people.

If I recall right, you move the mouse over the equipment piece, hold CTRL, and press C. You have to have it set up not to block pop-ups, and to show links. From there, it's just a matter of copying the link into your post and actually linking it, which you already know how to do.

Your really gonna need to put more points into int and wis if you really plan on do much spell casting. And most of the stuff people link in this thread are screenshots.

Ok, got it... I wasn't thinking of the "side effect" of damage breaking the spell ^^

Hi there !

I just started playing HentaiVerse and i want to make a good character with high survivability in any battles and most practical for getting exp and credits (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Basically i though that a simple warrior is best choice in non co-op games like this.

So far my build looks like this.

Attached ImageAttached ImageAttached ImageAttached Image

1. So my question is how should i add stats?
2. What equipment should i start looking for?
3. What does the stats in () on equipment means ? (I though they where basic stats of item)
4. Hmmm Item World it's really hard for me to clear it for like lvl 100+ coz i run out of hp near 60 battle even with draughts.
5. What training should i be doing ?
6. How come i did not find a single equipment item from the start of the game ? And i see people sell them like crazy on forums and to "vendor".
7. Should i try investing in some spells ? The only thing i use is cure and i think wizards wnt be as efficent as warriors here but i can be wrong ofc ^^ (wizz dont lynch me !)
8. You can simply discard all my questions and if u're undauntedly skilled and already mastered the game tell me what build would you make to rock the game (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

1) If nothing else, I'd say beef up your END, it's your lifeblood. And don't let INT and WIS drift too far behind, they determine how much damage you take from magic.
2) Right now you have a two-hander. That's fine, but many of them have reduced/no accuracy bonus. If you keep using one, I'd say buy better grade armor to soak up the damage (Bronze is not your friend). Or you might try Balance weapons, those have bigger accuracy bonuses than most.
3) When you use something at a higher level than you, you'll see those. So if you see this: 10 (7), that means that you currently get the 7, but that number will increase gradually as you level up, until you get the full 10 once your level matches up. You're just growing into the equipment, basically, so in most cases you'll need to buy relatively close to your level, maybe no more than 20 or so levels above it right now.
4) One thing that works surprisingly well for me is all heavy armor, and a two-hander with decent accuracy and lots of bleed. Of course you may just have the difficulty up too high, or the equipment you're fighting in is just too hard for you right now. It's tough to clear high level/grade equipment.
5-6) Depends. Most people like to save up so they can buy Pack Rat, item slots help a lot. But having a few levels of Scavenger, Luck of the Draw, and Quartermaster will get you that equipment you've been missing, eventually.
7) I would stick with warrior for now, only because you've steered your stats closer to the warrior route. Spells can be nice once you have the MP to use several of them, which you don't right now.

1) Your END is piss-poor. You can't expect to survive with shit stats like that. I don't know how many times we've said this, END should always be around or higher than your level. WIS is also necessary, INT you can keep 10 behind.
2) Average or better quality. High defensive stats and primary attribute bonuses in STR and END with as low Compromise as possible (it'll still be high, but some are higher than others). If you stick with a 2H, find a Balance one and/or one with as massive a Bleed as possible.
3) Stats in parentheses are the scaled stats. When you use over-level equipment, they scale down to match your level. Scaled stats can still be higher than equipment closer to your level, so you have to compare.
4) Your END is garbage, so no, you won't be getting far because you run out of HP. You don't need SP-OC since you're too low-level to see any decent gains from it. Drop the points into MP Tanks instead so you can cast Cure more often. More WIS will help with this, as well.
5) At least 1 Aura Slot and a few Pack Rats if you've got the coin. Scav and Archeologist will give you the best chances for drops. QM is pointless since equip drops are mostly trash because you can buy good high-level gear.
6) Drops are a numbers game. When you are fighting over 300 rounds a day in arenas alone, you'll pick up more than a few equips. Grind more.
7) Unless you plan on not wearing heavy armor, you're wasting your time. Dep and Support spells are all you need (and can really cast) if you're tanking it. Get Weaken, Poison for now.

1. for the stats, I would say pump agi and end to 20 and then keep that spacing from here on out (str +10 from dex/agi/end +10 from int/wis). You don't want to let any of your stats drift to far below your level. If you arent dead set on str though I wouldnt keep it so much high. personally I'm 110/110/110/105/105/105. I keep my END lower than most though.

2. equip: look for a really solid piece first and then build around that. If you find a high parry weapon, consider using it as an offhand for dual wielding. Find a good shield? go from there. Eventually you'll probably want different setups for arenas and other battles, but to start just make the best single setup you can (ie if you find yourself going heavy armor, go all heavy armor dont mix until later). There is no single "best" style so it really depends on what you can get a hold of.

3. Gone over by other already, but just for completions sake, the () stats are the stats scaled to your level. so if the equip is lvl 100 and shows 20 (12) you get 12 at your current level.

4. Thats just how it goes. Enemy damage increases 1% per round. :/ The better your equip the farther you get, but eventually you just get overwhelmed.

5. scavenger/lotd archeo and QM for long term gains, ability points and adept learner as needed. You will want atleast 2 points of refined aura when you can get it as well.

6. meh, the best equipment will be bought from other players anyways until level 100+, and most of it is still bought even then.

7. As has been mentioned, weaken. get it. you'll want poison eventualy as well. You probably also want the mp tanks even as a warrior. I know I do.

Question: with the introduction, there's the option to go for full Heavy, full cloth and full light.

I've been thinking: what's the best combination for weapons and armor.

I've thought of:
Dual Wielding with Cloth
One-Handed + Shield with Light
Two-Handed with Heavy.

Or is a different combination better?
