How freq do you get good stuff from Noodly trophies?

Now that i start to run out of stamina i wonder, is it better to just buy ED, or better to stop selling Precursor Artifacts and shrine it myself for stats and ED. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

It depended on how far is your bonus stat from the cap. If it is 1-2 points from the caps, selling artifacts should be a better choice (credits-wise). If your bonus stat is low, just shrine them.

BTW, I have never sold artifacts. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

3M but not through auction (though the seller took reference from the auction price of a slightly inferior mag hallowed rapier)

Not particular. Actually Demonic/Hallowed can get more expensive than Ethereal, since Featherweight shard is less annoying to use than Infusion. Elemental rapiers are meh, cos they would be weak in SG, though good roll can still make them expensive

because i got this for ~140k which imo is a pretty awesome deal.

I thought it averaged out to 1 in 500 to a 1000 for getting a good legendary.

I wonder how the anti-parry from Overpower (weapon potency) and Overwhelming Strike (1H unique proc) stack. Are they multiplicative or additive?

I.e if I had 4 Overpower and got a 2 stack Overwhelming Strike proc'ed, how much anti-parry would I have in total?

I guess my equipment is much worse than yours coz i'm using only droped/bazaar but it is enough for better results
it is wrong to take IA2 before pack rat 10 especially not playing something with large number of turns
preferably to invest in drop training for credits and revise game towards using of more potions
playing without SoL at your level is one of the main reason why u cant do PF RE
the only place where the player can afford to die is grindfest
otherwise u need more potions/lower diff/better equip
or it means that you do something wrong
pause game and think a little
about SoL and potions
and stop using SS
before 265/285

I think your and many of L300- players problem is that actually they do not are learning how to play,
they do not taking benefits given to them by game with levelup(supportive and deprecating magic)
and start an arms race with extra help from L300+ players thereby violating the game balance
This does not apply to even low level but experienced player for using good mooglemailed equipment,
but if you cant easily pass even PF RE(vs 10 pokemons) or Hell Trio from L220+(and this is not the best result for such equipment)
it's definitely means you are doing something wrong - must take a break and reflect on game and not about equipment(if u wanna better results of course)

For example, Spark of Life - Haste - Shadow Veil - Protection - Regen - Heartseeker - Cure - Full Cure - Potions and Weapon Skills,
this is what I am using and enough for passage till the last round of Hell Trio from level 220 without triggering SoL(using it just to be sure that will not die)
takes about 35 minutes coz of my peerless equipment(perhaps will write about it someday - random bazaar Exq/Sup 2PAB xD not even thinking about it until Mag droped)
Need to add depricating spells for PF Arenas, RoB or RE vs 10: Sleep - Silence - Weaken - Imperil and Absorb
Then you will need to start using Defend/Focus/Drain/SS/etc
I think your level and equipment is enough for passage IWBTH Trio but not PF
(with current knowledge about HV now I think in conditions of the average player it is impossible L264-)
so if you dont use any of the above spells - start to use it, otherwise think what you're doing wrong, again
and stop thinking that the reason of your failures is equipment, this is not so - hope this helps ^^

when equipment quality grows faster than player skill
and for competitive interest to at least level 200-300 in equal conditions
I think it would be nice to introduce restrictions on the quality of the mooglemailed equipment by Level/LotD
coz it's wrong when someone who has no dropped Legendary eqipment has set of such quality
and only then let pron magnates have fun grindfest with peerless sets
to improve the balance of game that would be great, no? ^^

100/0 - Fine
150/5 - Superior
200/10 - Exquisite
250/15 - Magnificent
300/20 - Legendary
350/25 - Peerless

well, it deals void damage that's the only damage which no mobs can mitigate, but that's already known... it also has 0 BUR and 0 ITR, but if it doesn't matter for you, i think an hollowforged one could serve good too...

@tempasdf: as for equips i still search in bazaar, i don't consider it so deprecable: i only was lucky enough to find a couple of good pieces here and there in various shops and to gain a few credits by selling noodles

as for play, i'm already using the spells you wrote, i can also pass average IWs at IW difficulty only casting cure and regen; till a couple of week ago i only did nintendo REs and debuffed much more compared to now, thus...
and just to say it, yesterday i triggered an IWTBH random: 10 pokemons, shadow veil was in autocast, at first turn i triggered Haste and as second Regen. there wasn't a third move; maybe i should've autocasted haste, but what's wrong with what i did?

I would not bother levelling Rapier 2. It has a very good damage and the potential for even more but high ADB in an offhand is not a big advantage. The reason for using a Nimble Rapier is for the parry but on your rapier it is way below par. My offhand is a Balance Rapier has nearly twice the attack accuracy and even has a slightly higher Parry chance than yours.

I could understand why you would want to level it - with Butcher 5 or Fatality 5, your rapier could become quite deadly but a Nimble's raison d'etre is to parry the enemy attack. If you are prepared to sink a sh*tload of nimble bindings and HG metal into this rapier to bring the Parry Chance up to ExMax, by all means go ahead. If not I'd look for something else.

Oh, by leveling I mean IW'ing... not bindings.

I'm way too poor for bindings that aren't brought by my monsters.
