4 m, wait that's for 80 rounds so less time.

Is that with your dark or wind set? Is there a difference?

It's slightly faster with dark 'cause less imperil and mana is not a problem.

That's what got me into scripting. My ping is around 400-450ms with frequent packet drop (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

What is your ISP? My home connection is using Viettel's service and I get 290ms ping with it.

I can only envy your patience, my average ping about 50-70 wich makes 4-5 turns per second in HV and it still seems not fast enough for me (probably just need better gear). Sometimes also appears packet drop problem and i just stop playing until it disappears.

Superior Ethernal Rapier of Slaughter
I see. Before i think Pfudor only raise status for monster

save up a bit to buy a Mag (or at least Exq) quality one.

decent damage and void is good, but is relatively low penetrating armor chance & turns, low crit & parry chance, also, low PAB.

Hey there,

I stopped playing Hentaiverse since the big update(version 0.76? I think).
I didnt really like the changes there + I hadnt time for it.

Well but Im trying to play it more often know.
But before that I have a few questions and i hope someone can answer it.

1.
Are the difficulty´s still the same (Nintendo is still as old Nintendo; IWTBH is still as hard as old IWTBH etc.)?

2.
I have some trouble to clear arnas on higher difficulties now.
I used to finish every arena on Nintendo at least.
But now it seems that its impossible for me to finish higher arenas on that difficulty .

For example on "Longest Journey" before the update even in this arena some Legendary Monsters appeared after round 50(The hardest part of the arena was to reach that part there these Legendary monsters appear).

So my tactic was to to cast Silence on him which lasted around 50 turns. And to use focus to regenerate my mana completely. With silence he was unable to kill me and I had not the need to use Spirit Shield just Regen. It took some time to get these monsters killed though (ca. 50-100 turns) but before I killed it I made sure i had all of my mana back.

This method doesnt work now because there are no Legendary Monster at all except in the last 3 arena (2 of them appear at the same time...).
+ Since Silence only last for around 5-8 turns now and that only if the cast doesnt fail so it became quite useless now.
So if I use Spirit Shield instead I wont have enough Spirit left to finish the arena(tehre is still a chance they kill me even with that on) + to kill 2 of them will take ages.
And without Silence and because there are 2 Monster instead of 1 I cant really get all all of my mana back.

Same goes for the lower Arenas Without Silence and 1 Legendary Monster I cant get all of my mana back or survive with just Spirit Shield because Im losing to many Spirit Points.

So what should I do? How should I change my tactic now to clear these Arenas because I cant really figure it out.

Hey there,...

1. difficulties are the same pretty much (easier since everyone has better gear)

2. Switch to 1H+shield (you will suck for a few days since you are leveling proficiency), 1H + shield is better in every way. Make sure you have slotted in your abilities (this is really important). Also upgrade your gear to Exq+ plate of protection.

Absorb does grant you another layer of protection. I don't think the MP gain from using Absorb (scroll or spell version alike) give you much MP though.
Btw, Absorb the spell has a max 90% chance to proc. Both spell and skill cannot absorb crits.

the last time i used it i gained less than 20MP, while a pass with Focus gave me 28... i think it'd be better to use scrolls to cast it, since the Absorb given by those has a 100% chance to process...

and also, seeing Bonebuster's equip i thought: assemble plates with powers is a good way to build a heavy set if you don't have enough credits to buy a full power or is it like mixing shade with leather?

Halfway through running Trio and the Tree arena, and the monster numbers have finally started increasing. So now that I've got both Spark and Spirit Shield, would it be advisable to use both? Would they even work together? Or is SS a superior replacement for SoL?

they could work together, it's not like Arcane Focus dissipating Heartseeker, but keep in mind that they both use the same SP tank: if SS use too much SP, then SoL will fail and vice versa... seeing that SS abilities come in long after SoL ones, it could actually be a replacement... however, you could try yourself how it feels to have both, only be sure to have enough SP (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I see...well SP shouldn't be a problem since I'm a dark mage (and HV keeps throwing me spirit gems anyway (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif))

Heavy has always been about mix-and-matching the parts. You should start with a full plate set, then gradually swap out plate for power to a point where you have just enough defense to survive the rounds and still get as much damage as possible. You have to try to see if losing 3% PMI is worth an extra 200 points of damage, things like that.

I run 3 slaughter, 1 balance and 1 plate myself (got the idea for this particular setup from Colman (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ).

O.o so 1H + Shield is now superior to 2H and 1H style ?
Back then it was really rare to see people using that style.
I have never played that style before so which equipment should I wear for that.
By the way why do want me to change from power to plate of protection I thought its recommended to have a high accuracy, well I could change it to power of protection if its that better but why plate??

Is there nothing else to do?
Why the hell is the 2H style inferior now? I dont really want to change my fighting style : It was so good before the update (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif).

0.76.i

- Counter-Attacks for the One-Handed fighting style now add the same amount of Overcharge as normal attacks.

Forgot this:

0.77
- Stunned targets can no longer parry.

So you know, 1H now has True Strike + Permanent Spirit Stance. All that good stuff.

IMO, to use SoL is better at your level.
I think that SS is usable after at least 3+ 'Stronger Spirit' ability level.
You can get Stronger Spirit 3rd lvl at 240 lvl, 4th at 265 lvl, and 5th at 285 lvl.

2H is still good for IWBTH stuffs. It's just that PFUDOR monster parry and spam skills too much that 1H defensive ability becomes necessary. Plus all those overcharge makes 1H AOE clear pretty fast due to perma spirit stance, and spammable OFC.

I see thats indeed a huge advantage

Seems like I need a good 1H weapon first.
1.So Should I go with Shield or without ?
2.Which 1H weapon is the best suited for that?
3.I guess I should use Heavy armor or is it possible to play that style with light too?
Which is better and why?

By the way wont I run out of Spirit points if I use Spirit stance / Spirit Shield all the time ??
And how would I recover my mana then?
