QUOTE(Scremaz @ Feb 7 2014, 05:44) Heartseeker is very useful, but also very expensive: it increases attack power and crit chance but has a base cost of 100MP, in your case it would be even more... lucky enough, it's also one of the most durable spells you got: with Channelling and a few AP spent it should disperde after 150-200 rounds or so (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Actually, it's not that expensive in term of mana/duration. Without any ability/prof, its cost per turn is 2mana/turn, Shadow veil and Haste are more costly, both at 3mana/turn, Protection and Spirit Shield are a little bit cheaper, at 1.67mana/turn. Regen is the cheapest at 1.61mana/turn This post has been edited by holy_demon: Feb 7 2014, 03:01

Is it better to sell noodles or to take your chances and shrine it?
I'm currently at 11 for luck of the draw, is it worth it to invest further into it? I consistently get superior stuff now. At what level would I expect that for exquisite gear and higher?

I've been selling the few noodles I get (don't come across Tokens of Blood very often).
Figure it's better to get a guaranteed 50k that I can put towards some sort of training/upgrade.
I believe someone said at 16+ LotD you start to see some Exquisites/Magnificent drops? Probably would have a large majority of it still be Superior quality though.

Woah, you joined a month ago and you're already level 254. Pretty hardcore!

If you have to ask that question, then sell it. Shrining noodle for profit requires a very good understanding of the game mechanism and economy. Due to the dynamic nature of both, nothing nor nobody but experience can teach you that, plus you have to be able to adapt well to change (read: if you're not prepare to write a bunch of script, and make excel tables/graph to record and estimate your risk, then you're nowhere near ready). But if you have gambling blood, feel free to shrine them. The difference between a gambler and an investor is that the latter knows what they're doing (most of the time xD ) I got my first leg at 17 LoTD. And I'm getting frequent mag (10/week) and occasional leg (1 every 2 weeks) at 22 LoTD. Be mindful though, just because they're mag/leg doesn't mean they're going to be useful (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) and I play everything (except D&D and Grindfest) on PFUDOR This post has been edited by holy_demon: Feb 7 2014, 03:15

If you believe you're lucky guy, try your luck by shrining Noodles. If not, just sell it at 50~55k credits. (FYI Luck of the Draw does not affect to shrining trophies.) As for Luck of the Draw, yes, it increases "probability" of getting a decent gear. Just don't expect remarkably sudden change with 1~2 more LotD though. With 25/25 LotD, 9 of 10 TT&T trial gives sup~exq stuff same as 10/25 LotD. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Does any player here have a service that helps to sell your items and you pay them a percentage? 1st option is cheap, 2nd option requires a huge supply of shards I think the current magic number is reforge at 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 if you don't get lv 1,2,3,4,5 of your desired potency. For me, I reforge at lv2 if I don't get lv2 of my desired potencies and reforge if get lv.2 of any undesired potencies before lv5 This post has been edited by holy_demon: Feb 7 2014, 03:25

Yes, the same amount of the equip's level. You can't reforge if you don't have enough amnesia shards.

Evening all. A lingo/shorthand question for you:
(for a weapon) 40.93WD 24%PA 3PABs(STR,DEX,AGI)
Just unsure what WD indicates. Weapon damage? What kind of scale am I comparing it to for quality? I get that 24% is parry and there are three primary attibute bonuses indicated.

QUOTE(caiax @ Feb 6 2014, 15:40) Is there any recommended level at which one should make their first monster(s)? I feel like making one to enjoy the occasional gifts, but I'm concerned about not having enough crystals and food to keep up with its demands. I'm already running low on credits as it is. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Even with the minimal amount of playing I do, I have no problem keeping 3 critters' needs. I've had them from about Lv100 and they are now Lv250ish. Of course, this turtle's pace of growth means that I will see mostly LQ mats but they can still surprise you with some unexpected high level gifts such as Binding of Slaughter or a Pony, unfortunately none of them have managed to bring a second one of those high level gifts again. Well, I think it may be a rapier, isn't it? First, WD is acronym for Weapon Damage. You can see other acronyms here: http://ehwiki.org/wiki/AcronymPA would be not for "parry", but for "Penetrated Armor". Second, the values indicated are base stats for the equipment. You can see the base stats an equip could have : http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_RangesWe use max values like this - lmax = max value of a Legendary equip could have - mmax = max value of a Magnificent one could have - exmax (or emax) = max value of an Exquisite one could have - max (or smax) = max value of a superior or lower grade one could have For example, assuming that the weapon is rapier, 40.93 WD is max+0.05. Not so good but maybe decent for low level players. This post has been edited by Cats Lover: Feb 7 2014, 04:42

Not such good but decent for low level players. Sorry, should've included the type - yes, it is a rapier. Great explanation, thanks! This also answered another question for me about what the MagMax I'd seen in the descriptions meant. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Dark theme is only meddling with css, and should execute very fast. HVStat, on the other hand, is a BIG script that does plenty of things. You can select the features you want in its option menu. There is also a HVStat Slim script with only the core features of the main script.
