QUOTE(Cats Lover @ Dec 5 2013, 17:39) http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Bazaar#Equipment_ShopSome guy might have bought the equipment from bazzar right after you sold, but I think almost of them might have been deleted by system. I sell at least 150~200 equips to bazzar a day. Not only me, but also the other ppl sell thier equips much more than that. Bazzar would be filled with too much crappy gears without the automatic remove system (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I wouldn't be so sure about that. I mass-dump my Crude/Fair/Average/Superior Gears to Bazaar from time to time (When their entity reach 200+), and according to my observation, they stay there for at least a couple of minutes before being auto-removed. Slightly hard questions.
Which weapon does better overall damage (including crits) unforged, a balance weapon or a slaughter weapon?
Would the absolute best crit weapon always lose to the a good slaughter due to forging?
If you don't know, can you points me to some ways to figure it out? Mostly how I can calculate and how I can include the differences between potencies.

Crit works the way you think it does: Average damage = Base Damage * (1 + Crit bonus`*Crit chance) `where crit bonus starts at .5 (50% not 150%). Remember to add it heartseeker. You can use this to compare different gear (technically you can include attack speed, but I usually don't as higher attack speed doesn't make your game faster as you still can only attack a certain amount of times a second.) If you do the math, technically you could get to a stage where the crit from balance could be better, but I'm guessing you need +crit damage on every piece of gear. And even then may be not. There is a good reason why everyone else values Slaughter over Balance (except on DW OH).

Overall chance of getting hit: 43.78% Miss chance: 0.00% Evade chance: 50.90% Block chance: 0.00% Parry chance: 5.32% Resist chance: 0.00% Monster crit chance: 9.27% Percent of monster hits that are crits: 21.17% Average damage taken per hit: 839.14 Average damage taken per crit: 1036.18 Average damage taken: 880.86 Average total damage taken per round: 7497.08 I thought it would be easier to survive at this level (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Anyone knows how monsters' stats work? Do they work the same way as players' stats? (WIS + resist chance, mana regen; DEX + Crit, parry; etc)

Yes, shadow veil + 39.1% evade chance. 11.8% parry chance. I'm getting hit a lot lately. I kinda wish more mobs use magic ;-; 50% resist chance not helping much. QUOTE(e-Stark @ Dec 5 2013, 23:47) I think i skipped this page thinking it's the player's page.. Thanks! This post has been edited by hihohahi: Dec 6 2013, 07:10

QUOTE(Owyn @ Dec 5 2013, 09:36) Assuming the game is balanced I'd ask: - In which cases Light armor is better? - In which cases Heavy armor is better? Light armor balances best with weapons that stun...2H mace...or DW club + OH something, like rapier. Stunned mobs can't attack, and light armor is faster, which helps make up for the reduced damage of these weapons. Shade also provides evade from being hit at all. Heavy armor balances better with most, if not all, other types of weapons. Heavy is slower and you will get hit more but your heavy armor protects you better and your weapons should deal more damage. As your gear improves, you will have opportunities to use other weapons with light, if the armor and the weapon is good enough. So. Pick your best weapons, which are the most important gear. And then armor to match it.

Okay, but that just grinds up a confusion. Why does the Wiki shows that some spells need over 700-800 Prof to have Max effect, when the Max Level of HV is 500? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Effective proficiency counts towards the maximum effect requirement, but I'm not sure if it counts towards the requirement to unlock spells.

No It doesn't. I have experienced that first hand when I was an Elemental Mage.

QUOTE(Colman @ Dec 5 2013, 22:29) I believe some people use script to search for meh gear in the bazzar.
Which isn't allowed and may lead to a ban. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Okay, now I want to try One-Handed style, and I have absolutely no idea about it. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) So I want Suggestions on Weapon, Shield, Armor, Prefix, Suffix. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) And is it Necessary to use Heavy Armor when using this style? This post has been edited by kuro009: Dec 6 2013, 16:33
