Power of slaughter is good for arena IMO. People will never die when SS is activated anyway. However, the price is ....... I always wonder how they earn so much.

Anyone know Double Gift base %?
Is it 0 with 0 chaos tokens and then 100% double gift at max?
I have Sloninja lvl 901 monster thats at 90% double gift and it keeps bringing 3 gifts when i check it.

Is it supposed to bring 3 gifts and not either 2 or 4? or am i that unlucky to only proc 1 double gift with 90% each time? or is there max 1 double gift proc per 12 hrs?.

It's already doubled most of the time. Think about it as a gift-meter: when it accumulate to 1.5 gifts, there's a 90% chance to double it and you'll get 3 gifts. 10% of the time you're going to have only 1 gift and the 0.5 is left till next check.

Thanks didn't know half a gift can be accumulated. I thought its either 1 or 0.

Am I the only one who thinks shrining for armors is a waste of throphies? Chance of rare piece appearing is ridiculously small. Might be worth it with Noodly?

They're alright for heavy, but since a lot of weapons moved down to common tier, just choose a certain weapon type and they'll almost always net you more credits.

What is the best strategy to beat PFUDOR Triple Trio & Tree as Mage?

Is there anyway to prevent Yggdrasil from protect his allies with absorb? (It simple keep all monsters totally invulnerable to magic attacks while the tree is alive... Silence/Sleep do not work though)

The melee "kill goddesses lastly" strategy is impossible to Mages, right? ('cause they probably will die before others by the "multiple-targets" magic attack)

Silence, Weaken, Ether Tap, Spirit Theft... What of these is a must to accomplish this the easy as possible?

Why do people use amnesia shards on equipment? Are the good rolls for weapons after levelling Potency in IW? For instance, my first was swift strike for 1.92% speed.

It's very easy if you abuse Deprecating spells. Cast Silence on everything, and Imperil on everything except Urd. Depending on Urd's placement, it could mean that you won't be able to cast Imperil on something. If you want, you can cast Weaken on everything, or only on the monsters you think are scary. If you have Better MagNet, you can try casting MagNet on the dragons. Watch the spell timers and recast these spells as necessary.

If the dragons resist your debuffs, that's okay; you can keep trying as you are killing other things.

Once you are satisfied with the debuffs, kill Yggdrasil. Then kill whatever, but avoid Urd. If Urd is near the top of the screen, start working from the bottom up, and vice versa. It's actually easier if Urd is near the top of the screen, because spells don't propagate upwards very well. It all depends on enemy placement, but it's usually possible to kill the other two goddesses, the three dragons, and one or two of Real Life, IPU, or FSM before Urd dies.

If Urd dies prematurely, then that sucks, but if you keep the Deprecating spells up, then you shouldn't have any problems. Even in this case, you shouldn't need to use Ether Tap, Ether Theft, or Spirit Theft.

People use amnesia shards to get the specific potency they want, such as Butcher lvl 5, or maybe just a specific combination of two potencies rather than having all four, or maybe get a specific element strike for ethereal weapons, etc.

I'm not quite sure what you meant about 'good rolls', but leveling items in IW has a chance to give either one of the potencies on this list depending on your equipment, with a slightly higher chance of leveling an existing potency over getting a new potency for subsequent levels. It's entirely possibly to get Butcher lvl 5 by the time you IW your weapon to lvl 5, and it's just as possible to get lvl 1 of all melee weapon potencies by lvl 4.

Find out and test how you can grind faster, using math.

Grind some more.

Invest it in stuff that pays off in a reasonable time.

Keep some money/resources handy to snap up good deals or investments that are little to no loss if failing. Examples would be buying GP or hath pre-0.77, switching crystals from 10 to 16 creditsor buying all the EDs when their price dropped to 1.5k in shop post-0.76, or snapping up low level Legendary gears right before/after 0.7, or more examples.

I got myself a weapon which i plan to lvl up to 10, and i was checking wiki the part about item potency and such and and after reading this particular part about hallowforged i kind got a doubt

base HP : 1450

Phy Mig : 24.7%
Mag Mig : 28.8%

is this status good? since what i feel in battle is that my health got reduced very fast (@100 damage / monster)
what should i do?

Personally I would recommend using melee at your level, mainly for leveling but if that's not an option, you should be looking gears with elemental suffix. They might be pricy, but there are a lot of shops around that are very friendly toward low levels. Since mage can summed up with kill before you get killed. You generally want a prefixed staff of destruction and a set with same elemental suffix. Lastly, you should increase your Agi/End a bit, to 70-80 as they're relatively cheap. :3

No, the special effect's not changed by forging/potency.
