DW is not OP in arenas. But its limitation of attacking only one enemy became a boon in RoB. Just sleep others, and you can save yourself from casting so many spells.

Just find that my 1H set clear arena faster than my DW set.
However, my offhand weapon of the DW set is not balance.

On Normal... DW as fast as 2H...

I tested it on Trio and the Tree arena... on Normal, my DW set (Axe & Rapier) can 1 hit kill almost all enemies and was able to do it as fast as my Katana (my best 2H weapon)...

I needed 10 min with both when I tested... and 9 min with Niten... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)


Edit: Just to clarify, i have tested it some levels ago... and come to conclusion that at my current level DW was as fast as my 2H... 'cause my 2H was not able to 1 hit kill mobs... however, for high level players that can 1 hit kill various mobs at same time with 2H... indeed 2H will always be faster than DW...

normal trash mob have @6k hp for me, nyakuro (sp?) has 18k hp. Aint 1shotting unless you Stance + crit the high PLs. No matter how high your damage you still are limited to 1 kill a turn. 1hand is noticeably faster since up to 3x counters. 2h is worlds faster.

@310 or so, wearing power armor + scythe normal T&T takes me < 4 min.

Tougher enemies obviously needs 2 hits or even more (depending by evades/parries)... Stance + attack is guaranteed 1 hit kill (again, if it's not evaded/parried)...

Enemies spawns mostly at 6k-7k hp for me (excluding tougher ones that can reach 10k+)... my Axe+Rapier+Heavy have 5504 base damage now... and I can 1 hit kill almost all enemies...

(And I think some other players (around my level) can notice the same thing...)

I think your 2H weapon got some problem (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif). Normal GF normally take less than 6 turns per round with 2H.

No, I am talking about Normal GF. Hell GF took me 12-20 turns per round.
FYI, I am using either full plate or full leather.

Do you mind posting your full 2H set here? I've just recently finished leveling my mag estoc but after a few test runs I felt kind of... underwhelmed. Wonder what I'd have to do to make 2H works for me.
