I assume PFUDOR is the best setting for grinding levels. But what is generally the best place to level, Crude IW/Magnificent IW/Grindfest/Arena?

just go as much as you can if you just want the level grinding (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) dont need to finish it P.S. buy legendary upgraded gears it will be easy to clear them except the school girls marathons..

Hi folks, long time lurker who's just recently in the last week learned of Hentaiverse! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Nice! Got smaller icons that are clickable, so now this post isn't such an eyesore. Thanks, Jantch, +K for you! So, I'm starting up a melee two hander, and I've actually been lucky enough to unlock a monster slot! Here are some pics of my character, my training sheet, and my equipment sheet. Also, I have the following abilities: HP tank T3, MP tank T3, SP tank T2, 2 Hand damage T1, 2 Hand accuracy T1, Heavy HP T2, Heavy Crush/Prcg/Slsh T1 each, Better haste T1, Better absorb T2, Better regen T1, Better cure T3, and Better protection T2. I normally fight in nightmare, and with Spirit stance, one HP potion, one SP potion, and three MP potions, I can make it to around 25 or so rounds in Grindfest. I have beaten all of the arena's to my level, except for the level 50 one because of a bonehead mistake on my part. I'm sure I'll beat it on the next 'brand new day' event. I only recently started using Spirit stance because I didn't know what it did before! So, for all of you melee two-hander players, do you have any advice for a reasonably new guy? I wonder how some people can actually survive the item worlds... How can it be possible to survive for over 100 rounds? Am I just playing wrong, or do I just need to wait until I'm lucky enough to get better gear? Should I be focusing on leveling up, or focusing on building up my proficiencies? What are smart things to train? I'm currently thinking of saving up my credits for the Assimilator proficiency, adding 10% to my proficiency gain rate. Is this wise? Or, are other training more important? Am I wearing too much armor? I've read a bit about some people saying they only wear a few pieces of heavy armor, so they don't get hammered by the burden. Am I wearing too much do you think? Anyways, sorry for the huge post. I'm just having alot of fun with this game, and am hoping to learn some good stuff from people who have 'been there, done that' so I can improve my play and get stronger. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for any replies. (By the way, A Great Big THANK YOU to Arialinnoc and Wolfgirl of autumn92 for the great gear they gave me at their free stores! If not for them, I wouldn't have my mace and my powered legs! Do a search for them, and check out their shops!). This post has been edited by merctime: Oct 17 2013, 12:10

Oversoul is at lv194, so neither TTT or End of Days is unlocked for him/her to try. QUOTE(Oversoul @ Oct 17 2013, 00:53) But isn't it impossible to clear those on PFUDOR at my level?
Play the Arena at the hardest levels that you can clear. Personally, I hate playing levels beyond my capacity because going into a battle knowing that I am going to lose, do not allow me to properly prepare for the long haul. And the clearance bonus equipment can at times be quite good/useful or at least will be marketable in the WTS, but if you can't complete the run, you don't get any of them (no matter how sparse they may be).

Exactly what I am thinking/doing right now. But on the other hand, trying everything on PFUDOR with stamina bonus will increase my leveling speed significantly. Also, I'm not really expecting anything beyond Superior at this point. So it might be a better choice in a long run to grind levels as fast as possible.

If you try to clear PFUDOR arena it will take a lot of effort and time, not to mention all the random encounters and their loot bonus as well as the resources you gonna spent on PFUDOR arena, even if they are below lv200 arenas. And unless you have max or near max LotD training I dont think you should bother 'clearing' high difficult arenas yet. the chances of such equipable or marketable gears are like winning lottery (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) For example, I got one of my legendary gear in a random normal round of an arena. My recommendation is that rather than wasting time with PFUDOR arena marathons, just keep checking (link script thread here) hourly random encounters and clear them at PFUDOR which should take less than a min but give you millions of exp. It's the most effective levelling until you get to lv 250 I promise. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Oversoul If you insist, I would say you grab better gears, at least all exquisite above ( even though it might cost a bit of credit at the start) and then do that boring and inefficient PFUDOR arena. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Best I can do is Battletoads Random Encounters, currently using Mace/SD Light for that. On Pfudor, I get 1 hit. Or am I just doing it wrong? Edit: I think my gears are fine, almost everything SD max ADB. Not sure if i should go for Protection gears though. This post has been edited by Oversoul: Oct 17 2013, 13:01

No offense but you are doing it wrong... you should be able to clear at least IWTBH random encounter with ease. Could you post your equip links so the experts like nobody can advice you? If you can't even clear that single round random encounter and max difficulty it is quite worrisome.

Oversoul Since I myself have sucking gears I won't be able to help you much with that but to easily kill PFUDOR random encounter monsters you need to use spark of life and deprecate the monsters such as silence, weaken, sleep. TBH I dont play HV much I just read posts (I didnt even know this thread system few months ago (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)). I just do random encounters mostly. I say prepare a heavy set with maybe an estoc or DW so you dont die in first turn.

I see, just started 2 days ago with this game again, so I guess I still have much to learn, but well, here it is: For Battletoads Random and high level Arana MaceFor Pfudor low level Arena ClubRapierHelmChestGauntLegsBootsOnly gauntlet is a bit crappy. Edit: In regards to your second post. As I said, even with Haste, Protection, Shadow Veil, Regen on, I get 1 hit. And I can only use SoL 2 times, there's also a chance that I might get killed when my Cure is on CD. So really, there are a lot of factors that makes it nearly impossible for me at the moment. True. I've been able to always win IWBTH hourlies since lvl120 or so. Let us check your stat and equipments. Tell us your playing tactics, like what buff you first cast and stuffs.
Now that I've seen your quips, I got to say they're good. They're way too good!! (Give me some of it!!) Your stat must be colorful with those.
Also, you don't play PFUDOR on arena with shades at your level. It won't give you enough defence just yet.

I've just timed my PFUDOR random encounter and it only had 5 monsters (which is the minimum possible) and I slaughter them all in 25sec. That FIBRE51 monster dying two melee hits at PFUDOR is just OP (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
